1986 went fishing at Poenskoep, the rain came and we got stuck on that road. Had to spend the night in the back of the pickup.Took us most of the next day and the help of the locals to get out.
Another incredible adventure! My favourite video yet. I will now be exploring the other Transkei episodes. Such a beautiful corner of the world. I really need to get back there again someday..

My wife and I lived and managed lodges across SA for over a decade until the Lockdown decimated the hospitality industry. We had to relocate to the Big Smoke to make ends meet, the city is no place for drifters like us. Now our only goal is to get back to the bush and to live off the land. But until then, at least we can come along with you on your travels. Dankie Oom Chris
the abomination that maketh desolate has affected all our incomes. I can't wait to be free $$ to head to this garden inside of eden for a second time 25ish years ago I was there got stuck with family overnight waiting for rental to bring vehicle so I never explored and always wanted to go back there this is my year. cpt out!!!
Love your vlogs, have walked the Transkei coast end to end, must be about 4 times all the trips added up, in the 80's and 90's.Just backpack fishing rod on my own or with a dog or with mates. Always low budget and only had good experiences.
Living in New Zealand last 15 years But miss Africa everyday. You deserve success with your approach to documenting your environment.
