Look for the small crock pot cookers. I found one at a thrift store that was a chocolate melter. The crock is removable and it fit PERFECTLY in the mini noodle cooker base. It is intended to be use with heat and gives me plenty of room to heat soup.
I bought my mini and experimented with it yesterday on a Jackery 300 watt power station. For lunch I had ramen noodles, but you can’t put the whole 2 cups of water in it. it used 54 watts. For dinner I had onions peppers and mushrooms and then cooked 2 thin pork chops. It used 84 watts. Next time I will cut the pork chops in cubes next time so they cook faster. For breakfast used used Dash and cooked an egg which used 30 watts. If if is pouring out I’ll be cooking inside with the Dash and MyMini.
I believe you meant 54% not watts, because the My mini noodle cooker uses ~214W. In my test the draw on the battery was more than I'm comfortable with. Eggs are quicker to cook in a skillet than noodles. Boiling water uses considerable energy compared to eggs .
@@janicecline1 You're correct it'll do the job with my solar generator but a small 330 shouldn't be used for larger draws you'll kill the batteries. IMHO using alcohol stove burning FREE dumpster dove alcohol, propane or biomass should be your first consideration when you need to generate heat. Using a fuel for heat is just more efficient. A freezer is lower draw and depending on ambient temperature, and your setting a solar generator is better suited. That's if you are using it for maintenance and not to remove heat of room temperature product. It's going to be a long burn to get to maintenance stage. If you had to accomplish that get your shopping done early use insulated bags and this way you can maintain thermal integrity and use the solar to pass power to the system while reaching maintenance phase. Smaller low watt fans and led lights are also compatible with 330wh generator. Yet to test cellphone charging draw. I've got a number of recharge headlamp I might test.
You could place a small grill across the top and still make your coffee or other things in slightly oversized pots….. Just some Cajun Engineering ideas. Laissez la bon temps roullez!! Lay-say la bohn tomps roo-lay! Let the good times roll!!
Oh BOY, my SOLO STOVE (LITE) Kettle Pot will fit it?! I have that, and regularly use it outdoors when there's NOT a Fire Ban in place. Love, love it for hiking. I hqvebthe bigger SOLO TITAN too, mostly for picnic table style cooking outdoors when tent or camper camping. I would never have thought to try it had you not shown this video! I'm amazed to see that it actually fits well in the MyMini Noodle Cooker. Yippee! 🎉🎉🎉🎉!
@@postcardsfromterry 😂, you know me pretty well because I've been eying that one! So many great "toys" ...Santa 🎅 are you listening?! "Christmas In July" as they say 😉.
@@postcardsfromterry Update: I am now the proud "Cooking Parent 😆" of two MyMini Noodle Cookers, one DASH Rice Cooker and one DASH Egg Cooker! Terry, these cute little appliances are like Bunnies, they multiply quickly! 🐰 🐇 🐇 🐇
Thanks! Gonna get me one. Now, about Japan… my eat, breathe, & sleep athletics neighbors just returned from there & said their third day there was exhausting. Automobiles are rare because registration is so expensive. Everyone there either walks or rides bicycles. So, be prepared.
STANLEY COOKSET FOR TWO. I just measured the bottom of mine and it measures 4. 3/4. I believe the STANLEY COOKSET FOR TWO will work perfectly! It's a great cookset with two bowls and lid and handle. UP DATE: No, not going to work since it's EXACTLY THE SAME WIDTH (as the bottom griddle) it WON'T sit correctly. However, The Stanley COMPACT COOK SET WORKS WELL instead. But it has a tad bit of a size difference as the bottom griddle is a tad wider than the STANLEY COMPACT COOK SET... BUT IT DOES WORK Ok.
Thanks for the video! I love this little cooker. Works great in my minivan camper with power station. I boil my hot water for tea in this thing using a Tsyware 24oz Camping Mug with Lid from Amzn. It takes 9-10 min with room temp water.
Next time you go to the thrift store bring your mini and find pots that fit. But make sure you prove your ownership before entry. Video it in your car read all the writing and you should be safe.
I laughed when I saw your chef hat, you reminded me of Chef Boyardee! I was going to go to Walmart this morning to get the My Mini. Then on the way I pulled into Park Place, which has all different places to shop. I got distracted as usual, and ended up on a drive. Oh well had to go to my post office box box anyway. I like the Solo cooking pot, it fits in the mini perfectly! All of the cooking gadgets are really cool, thank you for the video. I miss seeing Miss Lucy, and Shelby, I hope they are both doing well.
2 is one one is none. I hybrid Prius V. It's parked full of fuel. Weather is great I'm using the 80 mpg scooter. Love the feeling of a long sleeve shirt flapping in the wind. Long sleeve to protect my skin from the sun.
I used my Baldor 330 solar generator (B330)to cook 2 eggs and a pair of tiny sausage patties. The My Mini Noodle Cooker (MMNC) took my B330 from 80% -60%. MMNC used exactly 214W according to B330. IMHO I think it's unwise to expect this B330 to make the trip using higher Watt devices. The most I should use B330 for is my car freezer. B330 is for when I have to leave the car powered off and I want power for the freezer. I've been testing the B330 using an O2 cool box fan $20 WMT , and I see it's going to make it through the night . Day Time I can draw from the sun. The panel return > 7W O2C has a 4-7W draw depending on what you set it on. Not saying MMNC can't have value traveling , it's best I use the superior Prius V for anything over 150 Watt. I've found that a 120V home heating pad uses 40-80 W , Electric blanket 120W. I lost my 12V electric blanket not sure it's draw . If it's used to make heat it's going to draw more than you expect. So when you can use optional fuel heat you have greater efficiency. Also I learned that I should start cooking with out the MMNC skillet , when it comes time to flip use tool to loosen the egg from the sides of the MMNC and drop the eggs into the skillet. Make more clean up but come on, it's 5" no big deal. I'm full and best of all satisfied, with 2 eggs 4 bread and sausage. Dash of hot sauce and mayo spread on the bread 😋. I have a fuel that any regular dumpster diver should have in gallons, Hand sanitizer. I have so much I need to use it some way what better application than cooking outside. I also can cook with propane trick to being frugal using this is refill the little green bottle with a Lg bottle. I've got 4, 7 gallon bottle. Takes me years to use a 7G bottle at home. I suspect that would change being off grid. Another device that I own is the Kelly kettle. It's great to hear small amount of water, same time you can cook on top. My advice on a Kelly kettle GO LARGE if you're OTR. You will want to heat water for hygiene and really too much work at
WMT+ I paid they brought it to me. Like Amazon no shipping for sales below X . Glad you didn't have the mustache like your smile and mustache hides it.

Some great tips for using this product, love that it does not pull so much power compared to the DASH gadgets.
Absolutely Tina I use them both all the time especially the noodle cooker

When I cooked the ramen I started at 87%. Finished at 69% = 18% used. 18% of 300= 54 watts. I will be good for emergency cooking.
The 214 watt draw is usually for an hour of use if I remember correctly. There is no surge in this product. I doubt you will be using it for an hour.

Find a big coffee mug or a soup mug at a thrift store.
Very helpful video. I just bought a My Mini Noodle Cooker yesterday
I love my mini I was just using it yesterday it is so handy and convenient
With such low wattage you can set a soup mug or a large coffee mug right in the heated area.

Yes, it boils water about 12 oz. I'll have to look for a bigger pot too.
Walmart sells an Ozark Trail stainless steel cup that will fit, less than $6, folding handles, 16 oz.
Thank you for that Tom. Haven't been able to locate one at my walmart!
