Well everytime it rained, everything would be covered in acid for a long time so they would not even be able to walk outside or fall to the ground without getting burned.

@@isabelleho1430precious metals and glass protects from most acids. Also Polymers like Teflon , PT, PP and PTFE or PTE. A lot of umbrellas and capes are made out of that, some with higher quality have Teflon, so they would protect you from most acids, even if they were more aggressive that what they showed in this movie. 🙂

Acid is a catch all term. Not all acid is reactive to every substance otherwise it wouldnt be possible to store/transport it. Somehow all the trees and vegetation has withstood it. Same withe concrete/tar covered roads.
