- In this video I'm making not one but two kirtles! In the traditional colours of the Slytherin house with beautiful embroidery on it, this dress is my dreams come true! There is just something about long sleeves nothing can beat. And stick around for the reveal, because it's the best I've ever cut yet! I'm really happy with how it came out, I hope you like it too!

Gorgeous. Your concept and execution of this Medieval-style Slytherin dress is AMAZING. Of all the absolutely beautiful items you've created, this is my favorite so far. The buttons and their placement, the sleeves, the kirtles, the embroidery, shaping the sequins to replace the snakes's eyes--you are indeed a costume designer who pays attention to all the details, even the hats. Bravo!
I love how every single cat is exactly the same when it comes to getting on patterns and fabric and trying to bat at the sewing thread XD Gorgeous dress and really cool design! I especially loved the incorporation of the witch hat and hennin forms - great idea, perfectly fitting for this project! And that cinematic reveal was just gorgeous. Super impressive job all around; you're very talented!

I have a true horror of creatures that slither and hiss. A very close encounter in East Africa aged 11 terrified me and I have yet to recover. Normally, anything with them anywhere and I'm gone. So, the fact I stayed, looking between my fingers admitadly, says so much how I rate your work.
Phoebe cat says your black cat looks just like her. The other 3 hope you have cats just like them too. None of them are such a lovely shade of smokey grey though. And I do know how hard it is when a feline insists on 'helping' you with whatever it is you are doing!

I'm a Slytherin. Grew up during the period when Harry Potter books were being released. As an adult, sometimes I look for Slytherin items, because while I don't like snakes, forest green and silver look amazing on me. I even have a beautiful satin cocktail dress that's black with forest green and white/silver roses. I bought it long before I knew I was Slytherin.
Most Slytherin t-shirts I hate the designs of. Maybe they're too simple compared to the other houses, or often people will use bright kelly green, instead of emerald or forest green.

A stunningly beautiful work in excellent quality. While I'm not into the HP world, I appreciate the design process very well. Did you ever considered using hand embroidery on your gowns? While being the most time consuming act ever besides bead embroidery, it would give the last little luxury detail. I do hand embroidery as a self therapy method and this is the most calming thing to do, for me. Especially on real silks, rich cotton velvets and fine leather.
I absolutely adore hand embroidery, and in a perfect world I would even have time and energy at the end of a 13 hour work day to make it. But maybe be one day :) I'm not giving up hope.

Beautiful dress! How did the buttons on the silver kirtle not fall through the loops? The loops seemed much larger than the buttons but I am also not wearing my glasses, lol!
