Sam enjoys a good fight and he may be efficient but he doesn't fight redundantly with cheap tricks, because if he did then Raiden would be dead.

3:19 this is the second time MG Ray was defeated effortlessly by someone who had no cybernetic enhancements.
The First was Solidus Snake destroying them with a P90 in MGS2.

Doesn't Raiden technically count since before fighting Sam he was in a exoskeleton? I'm probably wrong on that but
@@jatinmarcob2128 Raiden became a cyborg after MGS 2. MGR:R takes place after part 4. At the beginning of the game, you are also a cyborg. You just weren't ready to fight Sam yet.
If I understand correctly, Raiden won the second duel due to his acceptance of his Jack the Ripper nature. Although just at the beginning, Sam noticed that Raiden was rejecting the purpose of his sword.

It took me an hour to beat wolf, it was one of the most engaging and difficult bosses for me in recent years. I played on NORMAL... this guy is insane
You do more damage on revengeance, like, a lot more. It's why fights ended so quickly.
Did you even complete the main game before the dlc because wolf is the easiest because you already know his move set

@@Syniy_kit that is not an opinion, that is a fact. Ray looks intimidating but is very basic to fight against. Even a mini boss GRAD can sometimes outperform Ray in terms of how much trouble they give me.

Nah its cause they restarted mid fight
They got hit there so Armstrong can stop wasting time by running around with that move since he comes back if you dodge it. The restart along with that is an instant D. Plus, even if they took half a minute longer to dodge that move than Taunt him for the extra dmg and got an S Rank in that fight, the overall mission score would still suck cause they skipped over half the fights that give you a rank.
@@andrewaigalew Restart doesn't give you D, Nate got D because of 2 things:
1. no combo
2. got hit once
restart doesn't affect score, but dying does.
if you die game will remember that but if you restart by yourself game won't remember it

Also, Vtuber Pomu streamed the game early February. Although, Revengeance has never really stopped being popular, The Only Thing I Know For Real - Lass, 2018 a particularly popular extended version of the song. Then there's tiktok, they made the Reeses Puffs song overwhelmingly popular, so I wouldn't be surprised if they had something to do with the metal gear *Rising* of the *Revengeance* memes XD

God, stealth is so jank in this game
Stealth there exists just because it's a metal gear game. Without those forced stealth sequences the game would be much better
Probably because the game is better if you don’t go for stealth. But it’s there since it’s a metal gear game.
@@NullTheTormentor stealth makes the game 10x easier when trying to get s ranks on higher difficulties
with these dynamic osts and the zandatsu mechanic, I highly doubt that stealth is actually a thing here. They just throw these things at us to show that "Stealth is optional"

You can tell he’s having way too much fun with this, he taunts every 4 seconds and spams jump on the elevator when there’s nothing to fight, or when he spins in front of the door panel. Having the time of his life.

Giving people faster than you credit and a link in the description, you my friend, are a true hero, I award you the title, Big Boss.
Bladewolf gave me so much trouble because I played the raiden way, which is keep parrying until you get an opening to counterattack hard. But for sam, his parry window is smaller, so it’s easier to dodge, drop one strong hit and keep dodging while you wait for another opportunity. Besides, DLC bladewolf seems to be much more aggressive, he doesn’t stop attacking so the only real openings he has are after you successfully parry or if you dodge, use RT + light or heavy and get a few hits
Bro armstrong seems to up the difficulty about 200% when sam fights him lol

I wanted to thank you for doing this speedrun.
It helped me do Jetstream Achievement.
It might not have been clean enough given the fact I had to use different strat for elevators and a few other enemies (like looking for new opportunities for taunt against Ray and Armstrong when I didn't manage to chop their healthbar fast enough) and I didn't master BM-canceling.
Props for doing this on 1 healthbar.
_I thought I was the weakest brazilian male, but now I see that it is this guy instead. Thank God_

about dodges i learned when i was fighting armstrong it was my first time playing as jetstream sam and on very hard difficulty
i always asking why speedruners never destroy the turrets in the boss fight (metal gear)
Probably because you don’t need to cut them if the game already shaves off the damage for you right after, unlike the armor where at least one slash is probably necessary
