This is 1 of the coolest endgame chess matches i've seen in a while. The end position is insane, how he got his king all the way down the board, the black pawn on h4 debilitating the other white pawns as well as cutting off the white king's escape, etc. So great.

Dubov has that weird charisma that is unmatched. There're other chess players, and then there is Dubov. He's the mythical chess lord. My fav of all time.
Cool king walk by Dubov--a beautiful illustration of the strength of the King in the endgame. This regal piece went as far as possible into his foe's camp and once face to face with his enemy, assured victory.
Hey agad, just a small detail: José Martínez Alcántara isn't mexican but peruvian, and the stress in Alcántara goes on the second syllable (al-KAN-ta-ra) not being pedantic or anything, i just know you like to get the pronunciation of foreign names as right as possible. Excellent video as usual
10:46 Rf1 almost wins the game because if Bxb2 Rb1. The bishop is pinned and attacked. Rb3 Nxb2. The problem for black is that the knight is pinned and the pin cannot easily be broken.
Could you remake the legendary game between Ivanchuk and Kasparov where Ivanchuk cornered Gary's pieces into their tomb ? I believe it's 1991 tournament. #suggestion
Hey Agad. Your English is superior for it not being your first language. I'm conflicted on whether or not you know that it's more correct to say you don't want to mislead us rather than you don't want to trick us, so I thought I'd let you know. 13:17. Perhaps you habitually say you don't want to trick us for comedic purposes, in which case it's fine. EITHER WAY IT'S FINE. Just thought you'd like to know. Srsly, though, your English is top drawer.
Not only is 4...Qxd5 the top move, it scores a lot more wins for Black in my database of players where they are both rated at least 2500. It is interesting that White chose 11.Bd3, when 11.Re1 scores 8.8% higher for White. Dubov punishes White for playing 11.Bd3 by responding with 11...h6 where Black scores 58.3% in my 2500+ database [DB]. I have 6 games with 12...Bg4 in my MegaDatabase & Black scores 75%. Dubov has won the opening. I have 3 games in my 2000+DB with 14.Be2 & Black scores 100%.
#suggestion Wenzhe Liu vs Jan Hein Donner from the Buenos Aires Olympiad in 1978. Liu takes down the Pirc Defense in a 20 move miniature with a queen sacrifice in what is known as "The Chinese Immortal".
Dubov reminds me very much of Stanislas Wawrinka, a tennis player who's won Three Majors, but has never been considered an all time great etc....but when his game was on, Brilliance beyond belief! He could beat anyone, on any day....Djoker, Rafa, Fed ...you name it. Dubov has similar brilliance...they both just lack consistency. Obviously.
Dubov brings his rook into the game. Not enough. Dubov brings his knight into the game. Not enough. Dubov brings his pawns into the game. Not enough. Dubov brings his king into the game. Mamedov: Okay, that's enough.
When you see the names Alexei Shirov, Daniil Dubov...you should prepare for magic...no one like TAL, but some players have similarity and Magnus Carlsen is GOAT in magic, specially in ending game.

Dubov is a crazy bastard, we've been missing his magical chess
Dubov is chaotic good!
Has he ever been committed to a nut farm?
Is it me or watching Dubov games during November-December in Antonio's channel makes everyone happy? (I miss those Carlsen - Dubov encounters though)
Those were epic
The spirit of Tal is with Dubov. We need more chess like this
Yes. Magnus can win or draw more consistently, but Dubov plays with so much more creativity.

Dubov is back, thank goodness
I feel good when I see him playing
it's from last year
He is currently watching some pornography.
@mubangavictor4103 same here :)
🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦this guy is full of fireworks on the board
I wonder if Dubov manages to be the first person in history to be awarded the legendary Morphy head for the second time.
What's the morphy head?

Dubov is my fav pro chess player, always love watching his symphonies of magic
Very excited to see Dubov is playing again this year.
I didnt watched agadmator for about a year but I am a simple man. I see Dubov, I click
My sister loves Daniil, and she doesn't know the firs thing about chess.
Merry Christmas, thank you, and blessings for a happy 2024 to you, Antonio.
Jaw dropping. Brilliant game against a worthy opponent.
Dubov's chess is so inspirational. I miss watching his games.
It's so tough to always play the 'perfect' game, especially during 'rapid' tournament !
Dubov is indeed the modern Tal
Cool king walk by Dubov--a beautiful illustration of the strength of the King in the endgame. This regal piece went as far as possible into his foe's camp and once face to face with his enemy, assured victory.
8:02 Nc6 (forking the 2 dark squared pawns simultaneously)is the correct continuation instead of going Nf5 as it is a miss
Then bishop c3
Games in description are absolute masterclass.
:)
I stopped playing chess but watching Dubov games makes me unpack my chess set.

Finally a Dubov game
Always fun
Very instructive
Great endgame lesson by Mr. Dubov
Dubov actually played a tournament not long ago, placing second behind Nepo, it was the Mark Dvoretsky Memorial (blitz)
Fide Rapid and Blitz are coming. It’s time for the Tal reborn!! 🎉
Yay...The magician is featured again❤
Dubov has a wild crazy game style! 👍
finally back to the good stuff
Dubov is a such a creative player and I am like Agad a great fan of his style. thanks for the video
Love Dubovs games, such an animal!
At 8:00 why not knight E6? It seems like it forks the pawns and gives black a passed pawn
Have u heard alireza will not play in World rapid and blitz??

Love to see 10 game final of Dubov vs Gukesh what a match that would be
8:01 Why not Nc6 for Black to put pressure on both b4 and d4 pawns?
This game is an absolute masterpiece + masterclass ✌️💐
For high level games, with other material being equal, what is the win:lose ratio of bishop v knight?

Wonderful Checkmate king Rook and Knight nice game creating the second weakness in whites camp Thanks for the Game Enjoy your Day
Dubov is by far the best player to watch playing chess. As i wasn't born during tal's time.
Magnus is like a stoic player
Dubov is like a intuitive player
idc how cliche it is, dubov is my favorite player. i’m a casual though.. thanks as always agad
That's incredible
Usually a king walk is a bad thing but this was quite different.
why is rook b3 ( kicking the knight from the defense of the pawn ) not possible ?
That Fred Reinfeld quote is such a dad joke. haha

I still don’t understand why Dubov has not won multiple world championships. He is brilliant.
Well, it's because the world top 10 see through his dubious sacrifices and manage to find a refutation more often than not.
Dubov should get a permanent Morphy head
