Creating your art is an act of vulnerability.
No matter what it is that you are writing or creating, you cannot escape putting yourself into your work.
And this is scary to many many writers. SO scary, that they often hold themselves back.
But when you do that, you deny your work the fullness that it deserves, robbing yourself of your full creativity and your audience of a full story.
Instead of leaning away from the fear, perhaps try leaning in and seeing what happens.
