Yesterday I was returning home on my Triber and went to fuel station for refueling. I checked the fuel reading on petrol dispenser which had correct readings and unfortunately forgot to check my fuel meter. I paid the money and went away towards home and noticed after 20-25 kms that not even 1L was filled at that Indian Oil Petrol Pump, Tauru, Haryana. I complained the whole incident to Indian Oil, now waiting for the response. At least I received the receipt, but no fuel. People are such a fraud.
Bro something like that happened to me for twice here in and around chandigarh. I have kwid climber AMT 2018. At first of first incident that took place , I thought I was cheated since my fuel meter didn't level up even a bit after refueling. I talked to the manager of the petrol pump and he advised me to drive for 10-15 kms, so that fuel meter get to show the actual level else they would give free fuel. But nothing happened like that. I drove for 15 kms straight and the fuel level went down instead of going up. I went back to the fuel station. It was around 9:30pm. I realised that I was being cheated but I fought for it and got my money refunded. Then I went to other fuel station few minutes later, and refueled with same amount of fuel and there this time after refueling, my fuel meter went up to the expected level. This was the first time until now I was considering it to be scam but it waw something else After few weeks, the second incident happened to me. I talked to the manager, had the bill of refilling. Here the manager was very calm and tried to sort out everything with a possible solution of refueling the tank with another few litres for which I was supposed not to pay. This time the nozzle was changed, and I advised the guy to hold the nozzle instead of tucking it in to see the flow of petrol. Surprisingly even after doing so, the fuel meter didn't level up even a bit and continued to blink indicating low fuel. At that time I realised that I was mistaken and my fuel meter was actually faulty. Few days later, I went to Renault Service station, they reprogrammed the fuel meter with their computer and then the actual level of fuel came up and it was exactly what I expected. So making a conclusion that petrol pump didn't do any scam to me but my fuel meter did hahaha 😂 lol. I am not saying that people at fuel station doesn't do such scams but they are very rare like 2 out of 100, and most probably the fuel station which doesn't have enough visitors on regular basis. I would also advise you to get your fuel meter reprogrammed as well which might solve your problem. These technologically advanced digital fuel meters are the worst of all times.

@@SumitSahay68 yes that can be a possibility too but get it confirmed ultimately. And yes it was my pleasure sharing to you and giving you an idea. Also many other kwid owners have also faced the same issue who were searching for the cause of such problem. I talked to them and few told me that they refueled the complete tank even after they heard autocut sound from the nozzle, entirely upto the point where you can see the fuel. But still the fuel meter was blinking indicating low fuel. What Renault told me as the cause of it could be if you are refueling the tank after it shows low fuel indication. I told them that this vehicle Infact holds a lot of fuel even in the reserve compared to other vehicles, so there is no problem driving it even with low fuel indication. This is just due to faulty programming of these fuel meters. Many other vehicles of different manufacturers face the same problem too. And being very honest to what happened on those days in life, following my teachings, later I went to those two fuel stations, making an apology and paying them for the extra fuel I got, as it was my mistake and I created a disaster there before hand. They were very pleased honestly mentioning that only few people come back to pay in such situations where the customer is mistaken. Later I left after accepting some tea refreshment with the manager. 😅 Thanks for reading till here.

Bhai, please report to the matter to the concerned authority, so that these type of fraudulent activity will stop or people will think multiple times to cheat. If we go on keeping quiet then these type of unethical activities will gain momentum and the wrong people will be encouraged to do so. I strongly feel, that we should do our part in reporting such an act.
