Knowing now about the deleted scenes between Jinx and Ekko after he saves her, and that there is romantic montage the mirrors the one that he experienced in the Alternate Universe, it is possible Jinx might have told Ekko she needed to leave, Another thing the Arcane book makes very clear. Jinx Loves Ekko, so Jinx's drastic new look when she ruins Ambessa's moment would make more sense and that there was at least a week together creating nd building "something new" and rallying the Undercity behind Jinx,before the actual invasion. So If that is true Timebomb is very much real in both realities, but Jinx had to say goodbye to her soulmate,Making Ekko's ending very Casablanca or An Affair to Remember esque, in other words having to watch the girl Go,after Real Love has bloomed within them that they will always have. Which makes Ekko's ending bittersweet and Jinx's no less bittersweet..
