Nice tournament, interesting to see more chaos over hero’s and villains. I do wonder where the story goes from here. Only complaint is lack of newer support for Blair and Crow. They are still fantastic duelist, but in today’s age, are only one trick now(a good trick, but after today, they lost because their opponent has more outs and options in their deck). Blair has so much more she could have brought to the table here, other than the trap. While her synchros are not great, they do put more lightsworns in the grave and raiden is a must for deck over two wulvs that can turn into bricks. And crow, I was sad he has not upgraded to having black winged assault dragon yet since that would have meant all four lv10 signer dragons would be here. I think them being good already is why their support waves have been slower, but for stacks like today, I think they could have had more upgrades. Other than that, really enjoyed the tournament and the jack and yusei match was one of the best in this series.
support only comes to the weak when it comes to normal characters. If a character hasn't grown that means they don't need to yet. This tournament they proved again that growth isn't necessary. Blair and crow both could have knocked out the character that won the tournament. However if they got quickly 2-0'd by them I would have considered it.

I understand that. I always want joey to win too. Though Crow has really never had a bad performance other than his first appearance. Since then he is a top 4 top 2 or champion.

Such an awesome tournament :D ... too bad i couldn't watch it live because of the em :( But you got me for a moment when i saw the 'the iris swordsoul' , i hoped that yayoi would come back (with a reskin). ;~;
this one was amazing. a lot of heavy hitters and some unexpected wins and losses. my favorite due however has to be dimitri vs yugi. that one was just funny. ^w^ also, very happy both yusei and Jack did much better in this one. with the outcome being the Barians win, I'm guessing they will use the number cards as a way to take People over, leading to kiba, pegasus, or yami pegasus to make the number hunters to research and collect the number cards to fight back. (good zane with cyber dragon nova as a number hunter would be cool.) I'm also going to guess the underworld king probably escaped with devac to the woods since that place was brought up in the intro. hopping to see more characters from the woods soon. ^w^
Now it's time to summon the evil Power Ranger to stop the Barian: - Yami Pegasus, the White Power Ranger - The Darkness, the Black Power Ranger - The supreme king, The Red Power Ranger - Kagemaru, The Blue Power Ranger - Mister Ganon, The pink Power Ranger Together to bring even more evil in this world.
I want some of these heros to get xyz cards that would make them so much stronger maybe they raid the barians somehow and joey should be on top of the list to get an xyz card. I am loving this series more every episode and im so invested now! Thank you for all of this Cooper!
Spoiler shield Sad ending but completely expected this, Xyz Sharks are actually cracked in this type of format (even with just like 40% of their support) and ARC alone counters like 80% if the boss monsters in the tournament. We are going to be in a bad timeline for a while guys. On the positive side, i am happy my boy Yusei is finally a menace. Add to it crow and jack and they at least they have a chance to free the moon at a later date.
@@CasualCoopergames 1 and 3 of yusei vs jack both felt like anime duels especially with how back and forth their duels were (jack is finally comparable to yusei now who is now actually very good so no more fraud jack)
It was nice that he didn't just flop all the time, but the upgrade wasn't even enough to win. Not to mention how often he went to game 3 and not just 2-0 sweep. In fact I think yugi had more 2-0 sweeps than him.
Oh man my job has been so busy i'm starting to fall behinde. looks like i'm late for a lunar turf war. my top 5 blind picks are going to be..Crow, Rose Witch, Old man Junk, Blair, and of course...YUGI!!! Honestly as long as the Dark Signers and Barians are delt with I'll be happy
It would be awesome to see the old deck users to have new support just like linkuriboh, quintet magician and stuff like that, so they can compete properly against the barions/synchros without relying too much on specific cards, or even countering the likes of Nash

Thoughts after intro/flashbacks I wonder how many attempts it took to get the results you wanted from the flashback Duels. When I saw the woods mentioned, I half expected me kuriboh girl and ice girl to show up again. It feels weird seeing a moon war without 2 of the signers (Leo and luna). I know why, but it's still weird... Clearly, I don't remember zexal well... I thought Rio was the barian leader, not shark. Wait... kaibq didn't recruit the rose duelist? Is he on Kaiba's shit list now? I'm rooting for team crow, but in order, my preference is Team crow, team kaiba, Arcadia, the barians, the dark signers.

honestly with all the shit going on I wonder what kind of power level you'll need to raise the players of the tournament for the Arc Cradle and Z-one to make a move. Cause I don't really think anything apart from crow and his banishing mirror force trap to be able to deal with any of the Timelords.
Top 16 only Yugi - he went full power against any "bad" guy but damn he kinda bricked against the good guys. Still really impressive glad to see the full ritual support Yugi. Vector - im surprised he got past round 1 but hey that ain't bad. Too bad the horrors besides the extra deck ones are very bad sl hos deck would be best to just be a rank 4 spam deck. The gorgonics were a surprise though. Girag - he finally got time to shine against people with actual effects. Too bad he didn't have enough points to get past the sheer number that BLS holds Alito - and i keep finding your ai in master era weird Alito. To constantly rank up Lead Yoke into c105 to not get his better effect is definitely weird. Also missed timing sucks but still okay showing Jack - did better than expected, still not gonna remove the King of Frauds tittle from him imo. He has power and all that but until i see a top 4 placement... He still has a long road to climb. Yusei - jesus Yusei finally went ham. So much synchro summoning... But kinda weird to not have any level 6 Synchro... Otherwise you did great man... But not great enough. Dumon - huh... Ngl didn't expect for you to put Kaiba on the ropes. But yeah i forget the seraphs are a really competent rank 4 engine. He just needs a 2 material Xyz qnd i think he would be much more threatening going forward. Kaiba - Nicely done man. You kept showing you ain't the afraud anymore. Now we just need you to have learn to better aim that Alternative dragon rather than always facedowns first xD. The Director - thankfully you took down Rose Witch... But your long ago ancestor proved too much... Ish Kiq Goodwin - NGL. Your deck is weird... Not because of the diabell focus. But the fact it doesn't use any of your spells and traps at all. Like why u so weird xD. And why did it take Crow to put you down xD. Old Man Junk - after giving us the worst match of the day with Armstrong you didn't do much more. Please go home OMJ... You need to clear your mind and rest. Crow - surprise surprise. He does so well but at the end Chokes and fails to take out the final Bad guy. I hope he gets more of his synchros soon. Otherwise just keep doing your thing Crow. Anca D - After humiliating Mizar with a full blown sweep she didn't ever open her key card against the Underworld God. And yet she put on a good fight against the big bosses. I hope she sticks around as one of the most interesting characters introduced of Master era. Underworld God - wow another Main bad guy who on its first appearance did really good. To go all the way to top 8 is impressive for a main villain. I do find your deck a bit weird but very interesting nonetheless. Idk if we expect to see you again or not. Blair - oof. After a first Fast match to then get taken out like that agaisnt Nash its gotta hurt. I guess this be the issue of having so many different lightsworn names and only certain discard fodder for them. Nash - Jesus the Shark man does not disappoint. It reminds me of Neo shark old days during tag force 7. Where he was an absolute menace in every possible way. And today was his first tournament as one of the two main bad guys and he took the crown, the moon and our cheers. Very curious what the future holds for us.
Honestly I could not understand how Yugi had like a 5 card brick against Yusei. It truly felt like the a.i. was just letting him win. Even though he still took yusei to game 3. It's so strange that he mostly swept the bad guys in record time and then really took his time with the good guys.
This tournament was great, a shame I couldn't have seen it live. I'm interested to see where the future of Master Duel Era goes from here, and I wonder where the Dark Signers getting involved with The Woods will lead, If anywhere, seeing as they didn't win this tournament
Just wanted to let the next generation take over. He probably thought it would be easy since he swept two of the baddies and also managed to put girag down easily in game 1 and 3. It was wild how he mysteriously just bricked against good guy characters.
Spoiler I can only imagine Yusei taking a hard long look at Kaiba before saying something like: “I acknowledge your strength. You are worthy!” Followed by him summoning Quasar for the first time.

Probably my favorite Master Era tournament. A bit sad that my goat didn't win but it is what it is. Can't wait to see where the story is going to go.

i loved that one duel with yusei where he had to pull out junk warrior for the win, since it gained so many attack points

Fantastique tournament. But i find it a little unfair that Yusei who never pass the 16 of final in previous tournament has is deck upgrade so much.

They are competing quite well. Yusei, Crow and Nash were forced into game 3 by many of the older characters.
