Here are the links for the courses I have compared in the video.
    1) Algoexpert by Clement- algoexpert.io
    2) Educative.io - educative.io
    3) Techinterview Pro by tech lead- www.techseries.dev
    4) Joma Class - jomaclass.com
All of these are good however one is better than the other and you can learn in the video why it is.

    Hello. Very informative.
You may have heard about Interview kickstart. What are your views about their course structure and do you think it is worth it?

Thank you very much for this video, it is really helpful! I am struggling with the question of how/where to start? I do not possess any skills needed by the FAANG companies. I am in a completely different backend stream in I.T. for a long time. If I need to start which would be the skill I need to begin learning? I am basically looking for your idea, appreciate your help! The interview process seems to be the middle step provided you already have the skill for the job position, hence I need to start from scratch!

For Fang companies it's quite straight forward - first thing is your resume it should match with the job you are applying for - assuming you have passed this initial step next is data structures and algorithm. Pick up any language you are comfortable with I will suggest use Python but if you like other language use that one. Learn the core concepts object oriented principles and basics should be done in 3-4 hours but will need some time to get used to it. Next is learn the basics of data structures don't need to go too much in depth just basics are important. Then start solving questions on leetcode. Start from easy then also try to learn the multiple solutions given in there so you know what you are doing. Learn from mistakes and there are some questions with multiple solutions try to learn all of them. Also try to learn time and space complexity.

@@thesiliconstreet Wow that is a lighting fast response! Thank you one last question, so far when I interviewed people or when I attended interviews for the position I am looking for, first question they ask for is “what is your total experience in your skill set, normally companies look for 5-6 years at least!” In my case I am just a beginner(0 exp), so wouldn’t that knock me out in the screening itself?

    • @thesiliconstreet
      @thesiliconstreet  2 роки тому +1

You need to try to convince them. Convert your previous experience into a convincing answer that will show them that your skills are relevant. For example if I worked as a data entry clerk I will try to match the Ms excel data entry skills to data science. For that you need to have knowledge of both sides. It all depends upon how you market yourself and if they ask you questions you should be able to answer them.

Hi. Good content but some issues that I think if fixed, you will be great
    1. Sound of intro music is very high but your sound is very low.
    2. You body is shaking a lot which seems like you don't have confidence.
    3. It seems like the video was created without any script . It might be better to create the script before the video.

      Hi Renil,
Thanks for the feedback. All the things you mentioned, I agree with it. I am aware of these things and in the upcoming videos I will try to over come these.

That's true 😂 I am as well prefer smaller-length videos. I will try to make them shorter from now on. Probably 5 min video is better. The gist of the video is :
If you like to read go for Educative.io
If you like to learn from video go for Algoexpert

C++ not sure. But I think you should not go for C++. Pick up a simple language like python for interviews.
