I believe that guy hanging on the edge of the stage like a blowfly (it’s weird) was the fill in guitarist for their international shows, because carpenter made the correct decision to avoid the clot shot 💉
Been a fan of Deftones since 1995…def my favorite band ever. First concert I ever went to was Deftones and Glassjaw in Columbus OH on their White Pony tour. Chino used to be flawless live but after thousands of shows screaming his lungs out (plus getting older)…it’s just not the same anymore. They still put out amazing albums but so grateful I was able to see them during their prime. Glad a new generation of kids still appreciate this band.

Yeah could have been a technical issue with the in ear monitors. Could be Stef has been smoking weed everyday for forty years and he got lost for a moment. 😅
Whos the guy on the side of the stage doing Chi's (R.I.P.) backing vocals? I'm referring to the screams... not the chorus, i know the bass player is doing that. Sounds way better than when Sergio was trying to do it. lol
S10 plus. Was very very loud and lots of bass. Definitely didn't come out as I hoped. Sadly if I was 20 feet or more back, it would have been significantly better. Thanks for the comment though!
I was gonna say a galaxy. They are the hands down the best of best for cameras and the sound is even great for a phone. Samsung should use this video to sell phones.
@@valeriavaldes2661 Oh yeah, definitely. And its not just drugs, you have to factor in the fact that the early Deftones records have a lot of screams and high notes which would take a heavy toll on anyone's voice. His voice started deteriorating after and around their self-titled album.
I used to see them a ton back in 98-2001, he used to sound flawless. A lot of y’all are catching most of these bands far after their prime, it’s tough getting old and still rocking as hard as we did in our late teens and 20’s lol
This is VIP. The GA had literally people passing out and they had to stop to tell us to take a few step back, twice. GA was literally insane, we couldnt even open up a pit until he told us to take a step back because everyone was just completely sardined together and getting crushed
Everybody was just getting pumped for Korn and System Of A Down. When Korn is on the bill it's not very easy for other bands to play before them. I saw them last year and Evanescence and Helmet played with them and you could just tell by the energy in the crowd that they appreciated the other bands, but ultimately we were all just waiting for Korn to hit the stage.

Other screamer is the tour guitarist that does chino’s guitar parts except for a few songs so he can move around more
