Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. D capsule hotel concept is interesting. D cost of food n accomodation r definitely higher when visiting a developed country.
U guys probably didn't notice it, but many Malaysians r complaining with d rise on d cost of living for d past 2 decades. Malaysia has a target, Vision 2020, to make d country a developed country by year 2020, but due to few unforeseen circumstances, d target is put forward in d near future. People, in general, don't know that high cost of living go hand in hand with d status, developed country. Perhaps, when u guys come back to Malaysia in d future, d cost would be much higher, even we u guys were in Malaysia recently, I can already see d cost getting higher.
The cost of living is going up all over the world unfortunately 😔. Even people in our country (Canada) are struggling, because of the cost of housing, gas, groceries, etc, has risen so much.
@@AttilaAndZae I wonder what's d main reason behind d increase of cost, d supply n demand r probably d same, d operational cost too. Anyway, have fun in Singapore. 🙂
Finally, you made it to Singapore at last.... "Crazy Rich Asians " indeed.... Spend most of lifetime between here and JB.....Street food / Food courts are still affordable.... Stick to that... MRT , Buses are pretty convenient ( Get those EZ-link card, you save money ) ... All you need is just a little research and planning, you should be able to navigate through....Take care out there
We will definitely be sticking to food courts and hawker markets. Also, the MRT is great and a very affordable way to get around and we’ve been loving it. Thank you for your tips 🙏🏼

Thank you so much Meena 😊, we really appreciate that a lot! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos. We’ve only been here for a few days and we already experienced the showers that you’re talking about 🌧 ☔️

Thanks for sharing this very informative video on the Singapore Spacepod Capsule Hotel. I planned and booked for me and my boys to stay here in March 2020 but never got there because of C19 lockdowns. Good to know about all thoughs flights of stairs so I'll warn my son he has to carry my big suitcase up for me when we finally do get to go 🤣 happy travels. Keep up the great work 👍
A very good morning to you two and everybody 😁 went to Singapore a long long time ago. Its a very very clean city country. Yea expenses are a lil bit higher there compared to other SEA countries, the food prices in the hawkers center is/are very reasonable and yummy tho. Welp some of us (Malaysians) might be a lil bit salty in regards to who create or own what food, me, I don't really care, if its good it's good no matter the origin of it (dunno why I'm telling this 🤔). In the end it is up to the eater taste bud 😎 neway hope you have a great time in Singapore ✌️ and stay on budget

We're definitely going to be checking out those hawker centres! Same as you, we don't really mind who prepares our food as long as it's tasting good. The Malaysian's are definitely a lot more particular about their food, and how it's prepared than we are. You guy love your food more than anywhere we've been so far :) !
Agreed! Besides they would most likely be spending their entire exploring Spore and would be back only at night. As such, why bother paying for extras when all you need is just a clean n comfortable room to retire for the night.
@@AttilaAndZae most malaysians work there and return home. To earn a decent living. But to do that they start driving at 4am to cross the border. A huge sacrifice in terms of time and energy. The exchange rate helped families with low income here survive. When they go home it is night time.

There are many options for budget hostels in Singapore. Just need to know where or you can try the hotel 81 within the geylang area which you get your private own room and shower.
We were looking for the lowest cost and this hotel was the cheapest. We were only here for a few nights and have moved onto another, it’s a little better and more private :)
