well shippers, this has been a long time coming, hasn't it? i really do apologize for my slacking. you'd think that i, of all people, would have made a video by now, but inspiration and time hasn't been on my side. but for the past five nauseating days, i made it my life to work on this baby, for you. i have been wanting to use this song since the moment i started vidding Hotch and Prentiss, which was a little more than 3 years ago, but i wanted to wait until i had something really substantive to work with and now, i obviously do (there's only like two manips in here). so enjoy this because who knows, my next video could be a month to four months from now. i'm just a terrible person that way.
this video is dedicated to irena (energis121) for rendering the wedding scenes for me (the episode I spent days trying download wasn't working with my sony vegas once i did download it) because she is amazing that way. we are in the process of doing a h/p collab using as many scenes as we possibly can. it will be awesome, so be ready.
saying that making this was easy would be one large frakkin' understatement and a downright LIE. the problems i had with it...oh my lawd. i got sick by the middle of it, actually. i seriously thought there was an earthquake going on, but it ended up being my head that was spinning. so, there are glitches in the audio and i blame my sony vegas and my state of mind.
and criminalmusings, thank you for saving me with choosing a scene or else i would have been stuck there for like a week trying to figure out what to use.
and by the way, i'd really suggest watching the video twice because i didn't like it the first time around.

This is amazing. They deserved their chance for real. I know he was fired but he should come back they need to end up together. That chemistry and bond they share can't be faked. You captured all their little looks and moments beautifully 😍

I am sitting here crying because of how beautiful this tribute is. First, you used one of my favorite bands ever and second, I agree with a poster below that you just make them seem canon. I can't believe that we won't ever get our Hotly. I can't believe that TPTB didn't see how much of a frickin goldmine that would have been for the show. BUT you vidding them makes the heartache a little easier to stand. Thank you so much for this!!
I am literally speechless. But not surprised you were one of the ones who got me readdicted to CM and this is flawless in editing and just gorgeous GOD stop being so ridiculously talented! Epic tribute and I will always be a fan of them no matter what!

This is EPIC! It is by far the most beautiful vid you've done! Although. . . I think I say that of every video you do on H/P :DWatched it in best HD & Full Screen. . . it blew me away and I'm sitting here with a tear & a huge smile. Knowing there probably will never be more material to add to this and because I cannot believe that not everyone sees the awesomeness that is Hotch/Prentiss. So many scenes, so many subtext. . . I love your video. I hate we'll never see what would've happened between these two. They had a connection, and sometimes she walked into the room he lit up a little and actually at times would smile (which is pretty rare for Hotch). Prentiss is going to be a major void, I loved her relationship with Reid and Hotch. If Reid doesn't get a bigger storyline this year, I don't know if I'll keep watching as big of a fan as I have been. Won't be the same. Am glad JJ is back though. Again, love the vid!
