Excellent video! Clear, concise, well lit and good view of the important parts. This was very useful when installing a new chain. Showing the master link tool was a good tip, since my circlip pliers were not effective. One improvement would be to thread the chain through the chain tubes for the viewer. Thanks again!

Great stuff. Changing or sizing the chain always felt like voodoo magic that I just couldn't figure out. Thanks.

Thank you. That will help me. My DualDrive has passed away. Which Rohloff chain tensioner is compatible at the adventure (they offer three)?

This is the best video on UA-cam for installing a chain on a recumbent trike! Clear, great pictures at each step and helpful explanations. This is the only video that shows how to thread the chain through the rear derailleur. THANK YOU!

Very concise explanation, answered all my questions. Thank you. I shortened the the boom on my wife's trike and it wouldn't go into the lowest rear gear, no matter what adjustments. I think I have to add one chain link.

Hi. Thanks for your comment. Just to double check, if you have SHORTENED the boom length, the chain would likely be too long and sagging. this would mean you need to look at REMOVING a link or two. (Unless of course you have shortened the chain already and it's now too short, in which case yes, you may need to put a link back in).

What trike stand are you using?

The stand is a one off prototype we looked at producing a few years ago. I'm afraid to say it will will be remaining 'one of a kind' for the time being.

Thank You. I'm installing a boom tensioner to a different manufacturer's design to make my trike more family friendly. The tips and hints here were helpful. When I think upgrade; I think Ice Trikes.
