- Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Opposition of politicising the Manipur issue and asserted that the people of the state will vote the party out one day.
About the flood situation in the state, PM Modi said the NDA government is assisting the state government to tackle the situation and added that two NDRF teams were sent there.

News Anchor Rahul, I want to ask you a question. How would you feel if your house had been burned down by someone? There are more than 60k homeless people have been living in relief camps in a miserable condition for more than a year since the violence broke out on 3rd May'23? Do you feel any pain of these fellow Indians? Why were you taking side for PM? PM spoke on Manipur's issues after one year and that too he spoke for 5 mints only and you were appreciating the PM as if he solved the issues completely

First for the last 14 months PM hasnt spoken a single word ,not a single word to soothe the pain faced by the people of Manipur. Second , PM’s speech in RS came after the opposition forced him to do so, as if it were a reaction to all the pressure, we wanted a proactive speech not a reactive speech. Third, PM speech indicates that peace and normalcy is in Manipur which is pole opposite of what is in Manipur.
It seems like the PM has given a speech so as to sprinkle salt on the wounds on Manipur people.
