Assigning Footswitches on the BOSS RC 600 Loop Station

How to re-assign foot switches on the BOSS RC-600 Loop Station.
I assign switch number 4 to control input FX "D", when the RC-600 is in Pedal Mode 3, for "FX" control.

Only changing Ctr func of a pedal will do the job. You dont need to use assign. If a pedal is set to trigger certain command in ctr func and another command in assign it will do both. More commands are available in assigns. Use assigns only if command is not available in ctr func, but remember to set crt func of pedal to none, so that the pedal will trigger only ine command.

is it possible to assign two fx bank to two inputs and use them simultaneously. I play guitar and sing at the same time. Both my guitar input and mic inputs need fx. I can make only one fx bank active at a time which is assigned to one input; another input does not receive fx. How am i suppose to get two fx banks for two inputs at the same time

Why do we have to change it in both ctrl func and assign?

Super helpful thanks ! The only issue I'm running in to is that now the footswitch turns on both the Input FX D & Track FX D at the same time ... any help on this ? Thanks !
