Brilliant!! I have been surrounded by cattle wagons all my life, parents were farmers and my father went to auction marts twice a week..loved this video so much..nothing but good memories.. I can even remember what they smell like!!! Thankyou for this!!!!!!!
Happy days on European llivestock work.....Calves to Agen...Sheep to La Correze and Mazamet ...All ceased with Vache Folle..(Mad Cow Disease ).1995.....To this day a good camararadie exists amongst Livestock Lads.. I recall an obstinate sheep (Last one).dragged me up the trailer twice and the heels came off my Dealer Boots ..(Brand New )...Happy Days ...Lairage...Vets ...Customs..Wonderful.!!!!!
Brilliant video my dad had a livestock lorry all his life till he retired last year remember seeing alot of trucks like this on the road 👍
yep good video, even the right music ,memories when i was young in the70s when i visit the livestock market.also a walk around the trucks outside ,nearly tears, greatings from holland.
Great video, great to see a lot of these old floats, when I was on night trunk in 85 I used to chat to a couple of cattle float drivers at night on the CB, one was called Animal. Can’t for the love of me remember the other lads handle, both drive Volvo F12’s red unit and the trailers were red with a white Starsky and Hutch flash along the trailers, great lads, used to have a coffee out of the machine at T-Bay with them, Ray was the man in the kiosk.
loved it the memories of being a kid and on the open top deck chasing sheep one of the best jobs ever would not be to appalling now mind 🤣
Animal real name Wayne drove for m hill fro the bury wells sadly no longer with us
