Never had one of my Mondo disassemble at the mid-section like that... It must be bad luck?
He looks cool but I'm not sold on Mondo yet. I consider myself a completist and I'm not crazy about getting all of the Mondos figures, especially at that price point. I do really like Man At Arms, also this Hordak and of course that new 3 way He-Man that just came out, he does look incredible, but the rest of the Mondo figures, not crazy about them. At this point I prefer to get all of the new Masterverse that are coming out instead of burning all the budget in one figure. Maybe some day I'll get a couple of the Mondos, just not today.
Dang, the waist coming off that easily worries me. Is it a factory issue with all of these Hordaks I wonder? I hope not. I'm looking at buying one for $229.99. But I'll watch more videos first. It's too bad he doesn't come with the hand canon like the Masterverse version. Thanks for the review!

This Hordak looks pretty damn cool, but the Mondo stuff isn’t for me. I agree, that waist thing is very annoying. I don’t like having stuff that feels like it may fall apart too easily.

The only mondo I have is the Batman animated series which I like but they seemed to have stopped doing them for some reason. I don’t like he man enough to delve into these.
200$ that is reasonable for 1/6 scale. I'm not sure why you say: "not for the everyday collector" ? This is definitely made for collectors!! + They don't lose their value!! I'd rather have 1 good 1/6 figure then 6 * 1/12 average one personally. (Like you say at the end, I collect the 1/6 now, the 1/12 are for 'kids' imo... Less details, lesser quality paint etc , but to each's own, this is only my opinion )

Definitely a defect on the waist for this one you got… cause I’ve seen other reviews on this figure and the waist doesn’t do that
