I managed to beat Despair today, along with the rest of the nightmare songs earlier, and let me tell you. You're going to most likely need to mash the dodge key a lot during the final stretch of the song. You can still try to fight off the Butcher Gang for some breathing room if you want, that's what I did. Good luck Vapor!
I haven't kept track, but I think I took this amount of tries. Devil's Gambit: 8 - 11 tries bad time: 20 - 25 (kept dying from bonezone and blue bone arrows) Despair: I know I haven't died 50 times on it as I don't have Unworthy 3. Maybe 30 - 49? yeah those were really difficult.
I understand your frustration. It's difficult and I commend you for trying but it's nightmare mode. It's gonna be hard, you shouldn't say it's stupid, because it ain't. And you are choosing to play it.
Honestly, pat yourself on the back. You did really well. Beating even 1 of those songs is something not many will be able to do, let alone also getting so far in bad time. I'm sure that if you took more time to try them, you'd be able to beat bad time, at least.
Hey vapor, the keybinds i used for despair was DFJK as well as S and L for attacking and then kept spacebar for dodging. But I attacked when it was bendys turn and dodged when it was my turn
you can archive despair you almost end one of the 3 more dificult parts you can kill butcher ganks at one order to makes you the dodge more easy in some parts
Cuphead is easier then Sans despite technically having more mechanics because it has a rhythm to it, the attacking to dodging flows and has natural cohesion, it’s tough but you can get into a groove with it, jumping from dodge to attack With Sans the strategy is to have a slowed hack or idk a Sharingan or some shit, because its just “be really fast all the time”, and it’s seriously trippy to try and dodge bones while hitting arrows especially since you need to glance to see what color the bones are and it can blend in really well with all of the other blue across the screen + the blue bone arrows as for Bendy..yeah don’t even think about it
You can’t complain about the songs being hard and you hate them and you hate everyone who had made the song it’s literally nightmare mode it’s supposed to be hard not a little easy baby song that all you have to do it just press the A key and than left shift and right shift and you’ve completed the song you can’t complain all you want just because of the song is hard it’s literally nightmare a hard difficulty in video game history I know I repeated in this but like literally you can’t complain it’s nightmare for a reason.
Hey, Indie Cross got an update and the blue notes, orange note misses, and dodges dont instakill anymore (on STANDARD) difficulty so you actually have a chance now lol
There is now a 1.5 patch that added a new mode for the songs and made the old mode (the mode you were playing on) hell mode, and standard mode is a lot easier and they changed the color of bendy’s ink notes. P.S. everything doesn’t one shot you anymore.
You have the audacity to call the hitboxes bad when you literally cant hit the orange notes on time, and then AFTER you horribly hit them, you get away with it, if this was psych engine you wouldnt even be able to beat last reel.
hmmm as yes, it appears you did not do something called T H I N K they are called nightmare songs for a reason. I thought it was obvious. for note you avoid any blue one and you hit orange ones. So it would make sence to not dodge blue zone and dodge orange zone. T H I N K VAPOR T H I N K
