It’s interesting that monet loves Jane’s shade because it just shows when drag race really fell off: season 10. Poor monet thinks Jane is this fierce villain when the real fans who enjoy the show like bob knows it’s made up like half of the cast of s10 . Fake screaming and fake gagging doesn’t make the read/the villain good😂. Drag race seasons 2-9 is proof (s3-6 if we really want to get into it)
@@user-ke5rt3ji8c I don’t think there was any fake screaming/fake screaming in S10. Most of the fights seem real as it bled into real life too unless they’re still putting on the front to this day. But some of the cast still don’t like each other to this day
I see what Bob is saying but I think some of her shade coming off as fake doesn't take away any of her impact as a villain. It makes her seem like she's scheming to get into people's heads which is a VERY entertaining way for a villain to behave

@@krissykriss328 the only thing I can imagine is that no one wanted a Night of a Thousand Madonna's Kimono fiasco again 👘, and chose more obscure rhymes.
Bob said exactly what I've been saying since Plane Jane showed up. Shes a bad villain. Shes trying too hard to fit the role and it comes across inauthentic and corny. Good villains are clever, believe what they say, and double down when called out. She is none of those things lol.
Exactly! Not only does she not double down, she's also backpedalling, your honor. The way she tensed when Ru said they would see the results of the rate a queen 😶
Agree. Plane Jane was terrified when she thought they will show how she rated the queens. If you're going to be a villian and throw shade, then double down and if confronted stand your ground 😅
Furthermore, she forgets that it's easier to make money post-RPDR when you have queens who actually want to work with you. Being a poorly self-scripted villain nobody likes isn't the move.
Definitely agree with Bob about Jane. It's like she has a checklist of things she feels will "do well on tv" and it doesn't come across as authentic. I'm sad Hershii is gone, definitely wanted to see more of them. I hope Amanda stays till the end.
The moment I saw her chance at pulling this storyline off tank into the abyss was when she started apologizing to Amanda after forcing the confrontation in Untucked. If you're gonna pull the "diva of all divas" act, you need to commit to the bit to pull it off, but she tried to pull back the moment it started going bad, which just deflated the whole "uber-diva" image - because now everyone knows she will cave to pushback, so no one will see her as a diva again. It's like when Jan started trying to do damage control in the beginning of an AS6 episode and it just made her seem unconfident with her decision making.
this is in the future but it all makes sense bc this last ep she said something along the lines of “i’m living out my sassy b*tvh fantasies” and like it rubbed me so wrong bc it just gives she is living out someone she wants to be but it’s not truly her
Some people are really living for PJ and other people despise her, I’m in the cohort that just finds her boring because it’s so inauthentic as they said.
sapphira's eve looks was so great and have so many details: she's shaking the snake of the tail to the baby and the snake is just a skeleton cause her skin is on the shoes and wrapping the baby. the devil was in the snake but now he's in the details
Bob made a very good point about why Plane Jane is not a good villain. She’s just mean, unfunny and unauthentic. Once again he expresses my exact thoughts about things! That’s why I love watching him review the show!
I do like what the IMHO queens said that having the dynamic of a villain who is a bit more insecure/not as confident about herself being the villain and sometimes backstepping is super new (as opposed to having a cutthroat villain that 100% believes it), and I think it changes up the game in terms of a Villain who can be rattled/shaken up but felt the need to fit into that role, could make for some interesting moments later
Plane Jane is the reason why Amanda is getting so much love. Everyone daydreams impossible scenarios in their head where they make some witty comeback or are the hero in the story. But it never happens because nobody's gonna play the part of your villain IRL. And if you did have an antagonist, they'd never make it easy for you If PJ wasn't so textbook villain/was any more cutthroat, Amanda would've been eviscerated or would've been a damsel in distress. People should be thankful PJ is just a lvl 1 villain.

I’m going to be honest, at first I found Plane Jane to be mean, but then her “inauthentic villainry” is actually charming to me. I would rather a queen fake meanness than be actually mean. The inauthenticity to me also shows that Plane isn’t a bad person, just a cunning one that wants good TV. It’s a goof to her. And her comments feel so much like “I’m saying this to say it” that I don’t find them offensive. There’s nothing Plane says that a good laugh and a “Girl, shut the fuck up” wouldnt be a good response to. She’s that ineffectual and you can see that the other queens aren’t really engaging with her because they can see she’s a shit stirrer and why would you waste energy on someone like that? Bob about Plane Jane, all I gotta say is "Period". She gets eaten up by the others when they clap back everytime. Its not NOT entertaining, but this does not qualify as shade or reading. Its missing that backbone, just hollow statements.
I agree with Bob about the weak shade this season. Some of them just talk too much for the sake of camera time, especially Plane Jane. So far I love Nymphia because she keeps to herself while being a little wacky at times and still wowed us on the runway.
The judging during Ball episodes are inconsistent. While Nymphia had the best outfit made in the workroom, Q had better consistent looks throughout the episode. If they gave that much weight on the outfits they made, then Raja from AS7 with her gold garment and Utica with her sleeping bag look should have won their Ball episodes. They both had the best outfits made in the workroom but had less impressive overall Ball looks compared to the winners of the episode.

- Legendary Icon MC Debra
I'm with Monet. I've never heard of a few of those characters from the nursery rhymes
Exactlyy! Someone who comes and announces that they are the villain are already trying too hard
Bob about Plane Jane, all I gotta say is "Period". She gets eaten up by the others when they clap back everytime. Its not NOT entertaining, but this does not qualify as shade or reading. Its missing that backbone, just hollow statements.
JIMBO DID THE EYE REVEAL ON CANADA DR ON A MINI CHALLENGE
Mirage is Mexican and Native American but La Llorona is a legend told all throughout Latin America
Not “she’s not that smart” nahhhh that lil shade is so funny 😅
I'd never heard of the cow or bee either.
🙋♀️ ditto on not hearing of most of these nursery rhymes before 😅
Not Jesus Christ like, Me! 😂😂😂😂 Bob you're a mess
I never heard of these newer nursery rhymes . Shrug.
I agree with Bob about the weak shade this season. Some of them just talk too much for the sake of camera time, especially Plane Jane. So far I love Nymphia because she keeps to herself while being a little wacky at times and still wowed us on the runway.
Megami's makeup in that first look was giving Whatever Happened to Little Bo Peep?
Im gonna wait for the bdtqvids about all the times monet tells bob to put balls on his chin lmaoooooo
Monet wearing a hat is so HAWT! MMmmm Mmmm Good ❤
I love Monet so much ❤
4:25 super relatable
“Even Jesus Christ is like, Me!” 😂😂
“I mean I would she’s hot” Monet you are so real for this💀
Curds & whey is an old fashioned word for cottage cheese 😭
The judging during Ball episodes are inconsistent. While Nymphia had the best outfit made in the workroom, Q had better consistent looks throughout the episode. If they gave that much weight on the outfits they made, then Raja from AS7 with her gold garment and Utica with her sleeping bag look should have won their Ball episodes. They both had the best outfits made in the workroom but had less impressive overall Ball looks compared to the winners of the episode.
