Nobody credited ALL her beauty to be being persian 😂 but its half of it, and she carries it so well ❤ just because I admire that doesn't mean I don't see her African beauty - it's VISIBLE. her mother is absolutely gorgeous. I really respect her love of her persianness esp as a Persian when the culture never gets enough exposure in media. There's literally no need to get jealous or have to compare - I also wrote cultures with an s, meaning two lol. No one should have to clarify all this though 😂

It's so weird to me hearing young people speak about black products being sold at the stores. As someone in my 40s I feel like the products were there since I was a kid in the 80s. Even then they were already getting Dusty..
They didn’t have a diverse selection though (shades, undertones, skin type, hair type, hair density,etc). They’re still not sold in drugstores en masse. Your anecdotal evidence doesn’t negate her experience (or the empirical evidence on the issue)
Was there always a DIVERSE selection of EFFECTIVE products to address the DIVERSE needs of black hair? No. I am also in my 40s and went natural in 1999. There absolutely was not an array of effective products to address my natural hair.
