Kinda like the Zieten. I play the Zieten in reverse and go into caps while the secondary guns get to work, I look forward to playing this ship, anything kinda different is usually fun
I picked up Navarin and Druid. Played a few matches and agree that navarin is fun going secondary build. At first I felt it was just a scale up of the russian tier 4 Okt. Revolutsiya being the high front, but I was wrong, so so wrong in playstyle. Each is unique and fun in it's right and I hope it isnt tucked away in forge, it needs to be available to all. Druid I am still on fence but each game I am getting the angles and it is getting better and more fun.
In early 1914 after the laying down of all four Izmail-class battlecruisers, the development of future battleships began in the Russian Empire. Among the most notable blueprints were those for several 40,000-47,000-ton ships with twelve 16-inch guns. Navarin is a traditional name for the Russian Navy since 1827, when a combined Russian, British, and French fleet defeated an Ottoman and Egyptian squadron at the Battle of Navarino. This name was historically given to one of the battleships that sank in the Battle of Tsushima, as well as one of the Izmail-class battlecruisers.
I’m thinking of doing the Russian BB tree next anyway so anything I can learn about the Russian BB’s the better….especially from the oracle that is Spartan. Which is the best Russian BB commander (stock and wallet warrior)? Also, has the fire mechanic changed? the number of Triple fires I have had today post update is more than I’ve had all year!
@@SpartanElite43Imho Kedrov is the go-to brawler commander for the russians, no need to worry about damage cons and heals when he can give 2 of both, and the extra turret rotation is needed on most of the lower teir russki BBs. Galler is useful on Borodino but that's about it I only say that because he doesnt have the Collective Labor or Master Mechanic skills like kedrov
Russian BB’s are railgun ships but are very weak and citadel city galore if you are too broadside, secondary’s are mediocre at best but does the job, and in straight line they can be pretty fast. They also have a hard time arcing shells over islands because they shoot in a pretty straight line, but if you master them they can be lots off fun and you can citadel al lot off people
They are mostly very well-armored if angled. I had a match in a Sinop in which I had to contend with a North Carolina and a Vanguard at a range of 9-10 km's....their shells bounced and bounced and bounced and bounced...damage was minimal and I killed them both eventually, securing a Kraken. The Vladivostok and Sovetsky Soyuz can do the same thing. It's a great tech tree lineup. Izmail at Tier 5 is arguably one of the best battleships at the tier. Pyotr Velikiy can also be an armored terror at Tier 4 AS LONG as ya protect that broadside otherwise you'll be blown to kingdom come on just about all of the tech tree batttleships....ya can get away with some poor angling in the Gangut at Tier 3...it's a bit more forgiving, but from Tier 4 on up....absolutely not. The Vlad is very much a floating anvil at Tier 7. Beware of fires as well....smart BB captains will try to burn you down...
Idk about the AA thing. Sometimes. Take out a ship and it shreds planes from a certain carrier, then I play another game and it seems that the carrier player has all of the needed commanders to make sure his planes survive long enough and are still accurate enough to hit me…. I’ve seen entire squads get chewed up in seconds just for the last plane to survive longer then the rest of the squad did, by itself…. Idk sometimes
I think AA is heavily affected by RNG at times. I was in a Minnesota and had DFAA activated and only shot down 2 planes from a Kaga squadron. At the very start of the game as well so my AA wasn’t destroyed or anything. I’ve had other times where carriers focus me while I’m in a Salem and get away with it because AA doesn’t do its damn job even though Salem statistically is supposed to have some of the most lethal AA. Carriers are the absolute worse and shouldn’t have been added to the game in the first place.
Is this the season of weird looking ships? Navarin, Michelangelo... the heck is with those two? lol I do like the new pan-euro DDs though. They feel pretty fun.
Good morning Spartan43, I have some doubts the first thing to say is that thank you for the content uploaded daily. I'm an xbox series X user and I actually have battles where we play on different teams. For a long time I have been observing that the game is in decline because of micropayments, in fact there was a very famous club in Spain for this game and people stopped playing it because of pay to win. I have clips where it is shown that if you don't pay for premium you don't win since the game tricks you from the moment you search for a game if you don't pay you lose. I have seen that you pay for the premium and so on, I would like to see a game where you do not have the premium activated and see what happens for a day I was with some friends 9 h and we won only 3 games. Best regards
I wonder how Wargaming will handle the Navarin....though it would be a lovely choice as a campaign reward vessel, and that would be the first time that a Soviet battleship was ever offered in a campaign, but my first guess will be for Steel, as Wargaming has been more and more condescending toward their customer base (see the "discounted" Friesland scam as evidence to my claim) and it's the year of odd-ish campaign ships. The Navarin hull immediately reminded me of the Izmail hull. I'm predicting that the Illinois is coming this year, because it's odd, but that's just me. I like the Navarin... I'll rent the damn thing for certain. after that...expectations of how we will see it released into the game will remain low...i do hope I'm wrong. On a side note.... Spartan made me laugh a little bit when saying "I don't really care for any of the Russian battleships at Tier 8." ...there is and only has been 1 available Russian battleship at Tier VIII...until now. almost 4 years subscribed and i still adore this channel...
Serious but kinda dumb question. Japanese 18in guns over match 32 mil bows...correct? What's the reason the 18in guns on the Georgia don't do the same?
Are any of the AL ships worth it? I have the jersy, and Baltimore but idk if I should get ships or commanders and if I should get commanders which I should get (have Belfast, hood, jersy, and chap commanders)
They bringed this sooner than the Kremlin, for me it’s a joke that this thing is here but we still don’t got the Kremlin, ok Navarin is for rental and nobody knows when it will come back but it’s hilarious for me
They get away with it because they aren’t big enough to be mainstream. If world of warships was popular then I bet you multiple gaming media outlets would be calling WarGaming out for their egregious marketing practices. WarGaming is legitimately as scummy as EA and Ubisoft.
This is a bit off topic but I was wondering what the best bang for my buck would be out of the current Azur Lane commanders? I'm thinking about AL New Jersey but I'm not sure.
About to test it myself, looks a lot of fun. But it's described as having "good concealment". Even for a battleship, 13,1 can't be described as GOOD concealment, can it?
13.1 with only the concealment mod is really good. Slap someone like Kondo on as an inspiration and you can get very close to cruisers before getting spotted which is very lethal.
Judging how I seen this ship and the high demand for a Russian battle ship this will ether be a Christmas loot ship or a event ship with a high price demand but I hope not I hope its a campaign ship are a steel ship
I want to have a bunch of Russian ships and premiums and when this gets added i will get it and i love secondaries and Russian premium + and good secondarys = TAKE MY MONEY 💸💸💸 💰

I don't understand how people don't realize that the free to play commanders are just as good as they pay for commanders and as a bonus you don't have to listen to the annoying anime voices.
@SpartanElite43 I just feel like having 12, 406 mm guns in 360-degree turret are gonna be heavily slept on, especially if you go full main battery reload, using AL Sov. Rossiya This is how I'd use her for this ship. Not one for nuisance. On Second Thought Master Mechanic Battle Cry Will To Rebuild Inspirations: Revel Ruchang Epic or Legendary mod. This build is very unique to this ship, having WTR will increase the amount of health healed back from these good heals and having master mechanic just makes it insane not to mention on a full Epic Main Battery progression your looking close to having a sub 24 second reload. At the end of the day, the game is dictated by RNG, and having more stuff to throw at the wall usually wins lol.
Kinda like the Zieten. I play the Zieten in reverse and go into caps while the secondary guns get to work, I look forward to playing this ship, anything kinda different is usually fun
AS a new player I really appreciate your videos and have subscribed thanks Spartan!
Welcome to the game and to the channel
Good vid spartan thats a rlly powerful ship i know your gonna play it more in the future
Nice to see spartan enamoured with a ship , and doing what he does best, really enjoyed that review

I am super excited for this ship.
Xarky's going to try a triple concealment. Newest Russian AL commander gives concealment, and he'll stack Kondo and Swerski on her.
Looks like a zieten and one of the French battleships had a baby
Looks similar to Lenin hull another good video Spartan.
Damned strange looking thing
Odd looking ship, but it looks like a Monster for Halloween events
You guessed it excactly😂
I Guess I Did Lol 🫣
Secondaries were deadly accurate for me.

I'm a big fan of how you sometimes mention a standard commander as a supplement to the premium commanders.
I use a lot of base game commanders
I think the best BB concealment is Karl Johan at T-8.

Al sov russia is probably the best overall russian bb commander. Duspersion buff, extra stealth and reload buffs and more citadel damage.

At least a few of the “premium” commanders he has are easily accessible for free such as the Azur Lane commanders from the crates.

Navarin is a menace to my sanity when it's paired with a Borodino. I had a very bad day against the two in a destroyer.
I was the Georgia that game the velos that got behind us had me in a bad position since I couldn't go anywhere after it got behind us

457/14.3 = 31.95mm
