Very nice shoe form Merrell and I love the look of huckberry design. Shoe is definitely a nice daily trainer for the trails, heel lockdown is solid but not great I did need to stop and relace run 1. They also do not drain well, so if you have a lot of creek crossing be careful. I think you’ll definitely get 300 plus miles in them
Yeah I think heel lockdown is so affected by someone’s actual heel shape; because these things are perfectly locked-in for my heels. Good to know about the drainage, and yeah several hundred miles seems accurate
I just did 4 miles on pavement in town today. They’re super comfortable still. Obviously you won’t get the benefit of these massive lugs that can dig into softer surfaces, but you don’t feel off in them when you’re on pavement.
I mean they’re fantastic on trail. I’ve loved them for the 35 miles I’ve put on them so far. But yeah they’ll be great if you just want to wear them everyday too. Not everyone can buy multiple shoes, so I’m not going to judge

They have been impressive so far. I’ve currently got a bit over 20 miles in them
How well do you think these will do in the cities? Don’t really live by trails but like you said what a great looking shoe!

Good to just wear to the mall and to hang out with friends. You can "pretend" to look like an Runner as well rocking these shoes.
