I agree! That cover is something else! It's really in the heavier side of BC and It's rarely seen that you can headbang and at the same time be in awe. That particular cover is liked by my metalhead friends too, whom normally dont listen to BC's production. So yeah, Left outside alone by Blind Channel is one to remember.

I'm the guy behind Wacken Metal Battle in Iceland. It's a live band metal competition taking place in 30+ countries worldwide where the winning band in each country qualifies to play the world final at Wacken Open Air in Germany. These guys did just that back in 2014 and I was in the international jury at Wacken and witnessed them play. Really kickass show and I believe I put them in my top 5.

The reason for not having snare in choruses was to be able to have snare come in on the 3rd chorus to build it massive. Brilliant! They do that type of stuff in every song, building and building, preparing and dropping, and it works well.

I was 13 years old when I started listening to Linkin Park. Now I love Blind Channel, because it reminds me of my old music that I still love! They definitely are not a band only for teenagers. The fanbase has fans of various ages, outside of Finland I'd even say that they have mostly adult fans, actually.

Yup. Im born -85 and bands such as Linkin Park, Limp bitzkit, Papa Roach, Static- X etc were huge! So when BC came to my knowlegde, I was sold right away! And a little side note if you may, most of the fanbase are females. Just saying for all those single guys... ;)

yes you’re definitely right! one of the things that i love about blind channel is that they really do love their fans. they aren’t afraid or shamed of their young fans. they care about ous. they respond to messages, they talk to us. and they make their music to us. they love doing live shows and they do everything that they can to make sure that they can communicate with us or like be apart of ur lives. these guys are really the reason why i’m alive and i’m so thankful for that 🙏❤️
Great reaction! I'm over 40 years old and have never been much of a Linkin Park fan. (I didn't dislike them either, but they were just not my thing. ). I was more into those old school rock bands from the 80's and early 90's. The last few years I've got more into other kinds of rock/metal bands. It started off with Sabaton and through them Nightwish, Amaranthe, Majestica, Dynazty and Apocalyptica... Someone told me to check out Blind Channel's entry on Eurovision. They were right up my alley!🤘 I also like that they're doing their own thing and stand up against those who want them to follow someone else's lead...

Man the kind of hip-hop/rap sections remind me heaps of bliss and eso, these guy's are a killer mix of a bunch of styles, definately need to check out more of the now.
Great reaction! You're right, we have many, many, many metal bands and also other genres (believe it or not 😅), but the vibe and the sound of Blind Channel is something fresh in the Finnish music industry. I really like the production of their songs, the rich sound and the variety of nuances. And what comes the Eurovision, they call their participation a "TV stunt". 😅 They never even wanted to win it, but to have exposure. And they really are very good and active on social media and have understood the power of it. I think many other bands should learn something from them.

My music collection also is a real mess of different genres. There's blues, pop, rock, ska, edm, electro swing, punk, different metal genres and many more in there. Sometimes I have days when I don't mind when music switches from, e.g. ABBA directly to Whitechapel. :D

Also, thanks in general of all your reactions! For the past year I've been watching a lot of reaction videos with my toddler introducing him to other than kids music. Obviously he doesn't understand a word of English but whenever your face shows up he starts smiling at the tv. He loves Blind channel (Balboa was the first song he ever danced to) so this video was a special treat for him 😁

First of all, I 've been subscribing you from the first Nightwish reaction that I saw. Which was by the way Ghost Love Score. I remember thinking that Tank would never react to BC. As you said, you usually like "heavier" music. But then came the day that you did react and this reaction was totally a surprise for me, for many of us. Really awesome to notice that you can see "outside of the box" and really enjoy this song! We sure as hell do! So this was a total pleasure for us BC fans! Total! 🖤

@Tankthetech solid work as always, thank you! Tank Facts are the best feature of the whole reactor scene, imo. As 40+ metalhead (prog,melodeath,symphonic) my only complaint on recent BC releases is that the song could be longer😅. I mean I really like what they do and could listen to this all day.

I love Blind Channel for the same reasons you picked up; their energy is amazing and they are all very talented musicians making clever choices. I love how they are really down to earth guys as persons and true in everything they do. That goes with the social media too; they were offered a possibility to leave it in the hands of pr-people, but they refused cause they wanted to keep it authentic. It's them talking to fans and fans talking back.

I'd argue that måneskin got a way bigger boost from the eurovision. Atleast here in finland their music is literally everywhere, it's played on the radio, it's played in stores, it's played in bars and night clubs. They also just performed on the tonight show which is a pretty massive thing for a foreign band.
They are big in Finland, but Måneskin is big EVERYWHERE now. The fanbases of these bands can’t be compared at all.
BC does only bangers, they are so good.

I can only concur - the most salient thing is that this band has an incredible energy in its music! A lot of influences, yes, but those are so diverse that it doesn't feel llke imitation, at all.
In my opinon, everything else is fairly unimportant.
I've been watching your videos for a while and I can't believe I haven't mentioned this yet, but I love how when you add tank facts or other screen pop-ups there's this little auditory 'pop' too! I usually like to put on reactions and then tab out to do something different, so the 'pop' sound is a great way to tell me to tab back in and see what you have to say. When I'm watching other reactors that add non-talking comments I often miss them and have to rewind, so it's great that I don't have to worry about that here

People in my Twitter bubble is sill speaking about the winners of Eurovision - expressing joy that they had finally encountered well groomed man singing anything heavier than pop. I watched the Eurovision video of the Italians, because it was recommended, then a couple more just to get somewhat acquainted, and decided I did not like them. "Blind Channel" is a different thing. I am certainly going to listen them now and then.
On thing: Finnish and Estonian are not Scandinavian languages. The group of Finno-Ugric languages include different ones, including Hungarian.
I also think that the problem with Maneskin is that their new music is too bland now and sounds like their other popular songs. But they still have a huge fanbase because all of them are really good looking.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the place to post this but I just want to make you aware of a band called Faded Leroy. They are a hardcore band based out of Boise, Idaho (yeah, I know) and I think they are good enough that they deserve a wider audience.
