when I was finished filming this I was told we hit a 12 meter wave around the same time i was tryn 2 film i can upload another 1 were we are running with them and one of them is over half way up the gantree so 2 reply 2 you still waiting when your a 5 foot 10'' person on a 60meter ship takn on 10/12meter waves they r all rouges mate cheers
The term 'rogue wave' generally refers to one that is around 3 times larger than the general sea state. Those waves were certainly crazy big though, that looks like one hell of a hard job.
Hope they get washed out to sea for killing millions of fish, and destroying the oceans ecosystems! Pisses me off how much damage they do with zero accountability!

Things like asteroid impacts volcanic eruptions have done more damage than our civilization has many times over, and the Earth has fared just fine.
