I see what you mean, and totally understand your point of view. That's why it's great to try to utilize those parts and play around with different styles of building and so on. Even with a small collection of parts, you can come up with some pretty creative ideas. Thanks for the comment!
I know what you mean man, but sometimes interiors need clutter to make them feel lived in. Exteriors like on buildings and space ships can benefit immensely from creative use of negative space. Look at the Lucrehulk from star wars: the arms of the ship curve around the central command ball-thing. Beautiful use of negative space. And plenty of room for fighters to zip around
Like others have commented, it's not always a matter of choice to build houses without multiple colors 😅 Like when I was kid and I had my Lego collection somewhat decent (for that time and for poor folks) late 80's, I used all kinds of bricks to build houses, or big boats. Like those long techinc pieces with holes in them, because they filled up walls nicely. But yeah, that meant big boats had plenty of holes in them as well as being every possible color involved 😆 But for a kid it didn't matter, since imagination was enough to make each creation coherent and solid unit for all those play hours 👍

About the 1st step, what happens if you dont have enough bricks to make an easy-on-the-eyes color house? The only Lego set I have is a Lego Classic box, and I can NEVER find enough of one color for a build. I literally built a Lego NES once (before the set was announced), but didn't have enough white bricks for the exterior. Its a miracle for me to even be able to make a full wall with just 1 color, and it'd take a third coming just to make a decently-colored house. Sincerely, No Money-having Soyboy
ONE THING: Some of these things do not count for Stop-Motion sets! (Coming from a brickfilmer.) But the colour one you should *really* listen to! But empty space, for example don't fill your rooms up with a lot of furniture, then you don't have room for fights or walking. And using the big rock pieces can be used for sets you don't need to use for many scenes! NOT to hate on TD BRICKS, but what he sais counts for MOC's, but of you think it counts for brickfilm sets. Don't do that.
What you said at the end really made me feel more confident when i build Lego but only when I build my own things so I don’t buy Lego sets thanks for that
The main reason most people build with lots of color is that they don’t have the correct pieces to make a build uniform.

Ik this might be too late but thx a lot, ive gained so much motivation back again to continue my passion with legos at my lowest point of unmotivation to build ❤
I only have crazy colors so don't shame me
Me too
We are being colour shamed and I wont stand for it
He wasn’t shaming you but ok
@@dewifrancis1299 No you aren’t he didn’t say you are a bad people he even stated that this is just a thing that’s helpful if you have these pieces
@Blazer dude. Again? We get it. Let the stupid insecure people whine and complain all they like, and just ignore them.
7:15 why there a Batman there hahahaha
When he said ‘drink a lot of water’
I took that literally, I always drain our water supply since I’m addicted to water
Can you drown if you drink too much water?
@@jacobrispoli1363 well, yes but idk because I’m not a doctor. Research this topic on Google and you will find official results
But my explanation is. Yes. But because I’m an addict to water I don’t even feel being drowned in water. I just flush em out anyways so yea. Water can drown you internally. But don’t take it from me, do some research on Google and you will find out ;)
@@jacobrispoli1363 you dont drown but ur blood becomes too diluted with water and starts swelling ur veins i think
@@malinatof yea water intoxication is rare but you can die from it i think the safe limit is 1 oz. an hour
These videos are super entertaining! 😄
you are such a good builder, you can make everything look nice, good job
can you do top 10 for ways to save money when building lego
MakoBlitz, that's actually a good idea and I mean it
love this idea, would really help with gaining bricks and help with the first issue
It took me over 30 years to realize that the best way to sort my bricks was by color. I still have not finished sorting all my bricks... slowly but surely it is getting easier to color code my builds.
1:02 I thought you said you're trying not to make us feel horrible

Thanks bro! I really enjoy building and I'm pretty experienced, but I feel like I don't do it all that well yet. Thanks for the great motivation and insperation. I really appreciate it!
Thanks! This really helped me. I'm a bad home designer (because I'm all about cars) and I'm trying to de-bore my blue modern home model. I decided to add a vast Lego painting on one of the ones... perfect! Thanks a lot!
Take a shot every time he says “in the long run” lol.
But seriously tho nice video.

I used to play the game of Tin Tin oh my god thanks for reminding me of that
10 supper usful lego building tips
Wow... Amazing work! This video opened my eyes. I mean, I'm a lego fan from my, like, 4 or 5 ears (I don't count lego DUPLO), but I made almost EVERY mistake that is shown in this video... And as I said, it just opened my eyes
I hate it when someone uses ALL bricks that see in buildings
About the 1st step, what happens if you dont have enough bricks to make an easy-on-the-eyes color house? The only Lego set I have is a Lego Classic box, and I can NEVER find enough of one color for a build. I literally built a Lego NES once (before the set was announced), but didn't have enough white bricks for the exterior. Its a miracle for me to even be able to make a full wall with just 1 color, and it'd take a third coming just to make a decently-colored house.
Sincerely,
No Money-having Soyboy

I got very drunk and passed out
nice a car account
I don't think I'm old enough to drink, and I don't think I want to drink. Instead all take a 'shot' of a sugary substance instead.
Wjere
This video helped me a lot! Thanks! ❤
Tnx TD! This video really helped
Can you do a tutorial on that LEGO car
I would love to!
Please?
I like how most of these don'ts are just opposites of your building tips video lol
Him: Nobody Can Build The Same Way As You
Me: Puts A Brick On another Brick That's the Same Color. But then I see someone else do it 😑
"Mom, can we have more LEGO bricks please?"
"We already have LEGO bricks at home!"

If I had a nickel for every time Tyler said,"in the long run," I'd have... uh... a couple...nickles..
This reminds me of grian's video "how not to play minecraft"
Aayyy #GrianandLegogang
I use lots of colors causebi don't have enough pieces with the same color
Lol thats called art
reacting cats there’s something called LEGO.com and you can buy pieces by themselves buddy
ONE THING: Some of these things do not count for Stop-Motion sets!
(Coming from a brickfilmer.)
But the colour one you should *really* listen to!
“NOT to hate on TD BRICKS but I will discredit everything this man loves.”
Omg your MOCs are awesome.
Great job!
Im the only one who notice there is a bad piece on the center? (4:41)
No
Why are you dissing that amazing coloured house it’s the best build I’ve ever seen! NO JK JK to colourful for me XD
