OMG I would so watch this if I were a kid and I saw this on TV. Way better than the official dub opening for this season
Oh really? Is there a link on UA-cam? I never owned the VHS release, I only taped every episode when it was showing on Foxkids in Australia. Whatever intro they screened sucked imo.
(Australian broadcasts are sometimes diff than North America - for Naruto, they aired the American dub but switched the American opening with the GERMAN opening; I have no idea why. If you mention Naruto to a kid in Australia, chances are they'll sing the German rap opening and it's like NOOOOOOOOO my ears >_

They're pretty much on par - seeing it now as an adult it looks soo fanmade after the first 20 seconds.
Call me cheesy but I liked how DiC sped up a lot of the scenes in their intro. It made it look less like random clips were put into a timeline and simply left at that. And the DiC intro was very much in sync with its own music (you were probably comparing the link's sync to the televised version of SMS anyway). Btw it feels very weird for me to defend certain parts of a dub. I've changed a lot from my dub-hating phase :P

@cathgil Sisters are better than cousins. That is why they share so much love for each other. Amara went to live with their father, and Michelle with their mother. This will be explained in further detail in episode 106, so please hold your "judgement" on our decision until then, thanks.

@ddrwinxfan That's the plan! However, SuperS will have Brad as the head producer, and some of the voice actors may change. We are also planning on dubbing the missing episodes, but as a side project.
@UoyUbet We are keeping Michelle and Amara and Trista and they will be receiving english last names and also Hotaru is receiving an English name but we won't reveal what they are yet. ^^ Well there are other S fandubs out there and we don't want them stealing ideas. And we won't reveal the route we are doing with Amara/Michelle we are not going to do the couple route for the sake of it being a DiC fandub. ^^ And it's not cousins either.

Yeah I just listen the the music - I have the music so I have that track with the transformation and attack/intro music. We're actually using the music that they used in the movies for the Outer Scouts/Soldiers. :) I mean why not one of our former team members worked hard on getting the cue with minimal sfx and great quality and there's already a dub with original music and the original ofc has it as well. :)

@UoyUbet But that being said they we are not making them a couple; it's honestly not because we find it offensive; we're just trying to fandub S how we think DiC would. :) We're gonna put a disclaimer so people know it's not reflecting how we feel. We're just doing the fandub DiC style so it matches Classic and R.

You know, even though DiC did way more edits, I still liked their dubbed episodes WAAAAAAAYY better than Cloverway's. Those things were so terrible, the voices and the dialog and the complete change in story to where nothing made any sense anymore was just terrible. I'd take DiC back any day.
@smsfandub What do you mean? If you mean from the S episode...We entirely mix our own sound effects tracks. :)
Very nice you guys. It just seems just slightly slow paced in some places and a couple of the clips don't seem to fit. :/
Imo, but thats just me. The effects/sfx were really good...and very nice creativity on the tiara.

@AkaiBaraStudios I think this looks interesting even if I didn't like the English dub. May I ask some questions? :3 Will you change "Amara" and "Michelle"'s names? Will they be cousins, a couple or something else?
Not half bad, but you could have use more clips from the Japanese opening (you used like none) the Dic dub opening for season 1 and 2 was a mix of the first and third Japanese opening plus footage from the first 4 dub episodes.
We tried to use as minimal amount of clips from the opening because they didn't really match like the ones from first 3 or so openings and there's not a remastered textless opening so the quality is not that good. There's a remastered R opening but not S.
I am on my ipod, and am sorta mad I cannot watch this.
