Merseyrail's The Wirral Swan Song | 15/09/2024

Welcome to Farewell Tour 1/2 for the long-serving BREL Class 507s Electic Multiple Units, celebrating over 46 years on the Merseyrail Network. This is just the first tour named the "Wirral Swan Song" going round the Wirral Line to each end of the Line with a little trip to Kirkdale Depot.
We see the train at Liverpool Central, Sandhills, James Street, Eastham Rake, Hooton, Capenhurst, New Brighton, and West Kirby. We then catch it running ECS back to Birkenhead North.
The second farewell tour will happen later this year, and I am very much excited and sad at the same time.
Both units on the tour were 507001 and 507003. We also had a visit from 507029, which was sat at West Kirby
