Honestly this is why I love horse racing! I remember my grandad telling me on his first start that this is going to be one of the best horses of this generation and I’m now 22, my grandad isn’t here and he was right. Retired a legend and has made me fall in love with such a fantastic sport!

I hate to say this. Henderson ruined this all time great. He knows it as well. The owner should have told him. He’s not running. I know it’s easy after the event. But surely a horse of this calibre to run on that ground over a distance that he’d never gone before. Cyrname ‘s never been the same since either. Anyway I’m glad they’ve retired him. It was horrible seeing him get beat by horses that wouldn’t have got anywhere near him in his pomp.

You mean you've had a bet, you lost and rather than admit you were on the wrong horse it is easier to blame the jockey.
It tend to be journeymen jockey who only scrape a living that become best.some jockey are only getting a few hundreds a week.thats when they are tempted to take backhander especially when you can now lay a horse to lose
