The flamingos are around the east and southern coast for most of the year. They fly huge distances to get to their food source. Before we moved to the coast we lived at Antequera near the village of Fuente de Piedra. This has an inland saltwater lagoon, sadly at this time with no water. During normal times in the spring, if there is 30cms of water, they breed and we are talking 50.000 plus breeding pairs. Its a real sight to behold. Another great video.
