I definitely need another lever gun! I had to sell off about 80% of my collection due to the economy and inflation but the family has to stay fed and the home repaired as well as paying bills! I'm so ready for Trump to take office from the Biden crime syndicate!!! Thanks 👍 God bless y'all
I like the 30/30 and the 35 rem both. That back sight works well for hunting targets that may be moving tru the brush. That’s a fine lever gun Sir Paul. Hope you enjoy this new tool for a long time. 🔫🎥🥇
Great find. Love my Henry’s and I know you will too. Can’t wait to see it at the range. One of my favorite range toys is a Henry Lever .410. It is a cylinder bore which makes it really fun with slugs.
Interesting rifle. Looks like a Marlin 336 with a tubular magazine, instead of a King's loading gate. There is nothing wrong with a "Buck-Horn" rear sight, they are meant to help with acquiring and tracking a running target. It should have a half cock, position on the hammer. as always a Great video . 👍😁
Had one of the Henry 45-70 none of the local shops had ammo and in a month I traded it away for a Colt Target Sport. Without ever getting to shoot it, new out of the box it had a missing brass bead on front sight and the lever bolt was so sharp at the tail it was like a razor blade to my hand if it made contact. Henry wanted me to send it in when I contacted about those two issues, I was greatly disappointed.
One of the older models that has no loading gate...I saw a golden boy in 45-70 with no side gate for under $900, but I really want one of those new Marlins, the SBL model to be exact lol.
the case for 30-30. wonderful caliber to 250 or so yards with scope matched ammunition and steady rest.many still call it a 100yd gun not much good after that. BS . I've shot them up to around 400yds in testing. the truth is the average shooter/ hunter can't with a standing off hand shot, no support consistently hit a gallon milk jug that represents a deer vital area. even with much flatten shooting calibers. the cure practice different distances, know the limitations of you, your firearms, your ammunition. Just patiently try.great grandpa, daddy, uncle bud said not good past 100yd never shot it much farther than 100yd because someone told them that didn't shoot it themselves. papa wishing you well 😊
👏👏👏
Thanks

Sorry to hear about your experience, that’s a bummer.
Nice looking Henry in 30-30 Paul. Never owned or shot a Henry rifle, but I do have a Winchester model 94 in 30-30 it's a good rifle.
They're both great rifles.
I put a scope on mine. But i got a over under sights rings on mine. Open sights for close up range and scope for longer shots. Great guns.
Sounds like a great setup!
Good morning Paul we’re getting snow here right now
Morning, we got over an inch now.
Very nice.
Thanks!
Nice Henry Pablo.....someday I'll have another 30-30 lever action
Thanks
Just a good tried and true platform. They are a little pricey but everything is these days.
Very true
Awesome rifle i wish i had money so i could get one 😢
Thanks
