I am 72 years old and I remember my Mother making us dresses out of flour sacks. She would cut the patterns out of paper and I remember even after I was grown finding some of the patterns she cut out. Thank you so much. GOD bless y'all.
I bet you could make a Christmas tree dip with green sprinkles and mini marshmallows for ornaments on the tree.. the kids would love helping with that!
True but you get a much bigger screen on the TV and phone!then we feel like we are sitting next to her and you visiting! Much more like we are part of your family
I know what you mean…when I turn my phone, it doesn’t go into landscape mode..it stays as portrait mode. So it does NOT fill the screen as the other person commented.
@swone6349 it does fill your screen. I get the landscape. I like it this way bc it feels like I'm behind the camera. It's not that serious of a discussion. More like a fact being stated unbiased.
Hello Corey and Mawmaw! Have a happy 4th of July! I love your cooking videos, please keep them coming! I miss my grandma, I used to cook with her and she taught me the same way. 😊
I would love to see your Mamaw’s version of Watergate salad and the coconut cake with the pineapple and cool whip that someone always brings to church functions. They all seem a little different but all are fantastic. Thanks!! Love the videos
I've made this before but I used blue & Red Jello to dip the marshmallows, this may be better dipped in the sugar. I live in Morgantown, WV. My grandmother taught me how to cook & bake & can from the garden and cold pack meat. My grandmother died 30 years ago and I miss her every day.
I’ve never thought about making a dip out of it. Thanks for letting us know! This is a lot better to do living in Florida where it’s hot all year and you don’t want a fire. 🥵
That looks so yummy! 🌼🌼🌼I absolutely love Sunflowers, too! Love your oven mitts. I could listen to you for hours. You are so sweet. Love you all. God bless you! Have a wonderful and blessed weekend. 🌼Deb from NC
Happy 4th of July and God Bless you all! You are blessed to have your grandmother stillnwith you, enjoy her and your grandfather every minute!!! Thank you for sharing your receipts !
My Momma Knight made all my Aunts clothes out of flour sacks. She had 11 children 7 daughters & 4 sons. She had a big garden apple peach cherry & pecan trees. She grew grapes. She made the best pies jellies jams & cakes. She taught me how to make her homemade banana pudding when I was 12. I pulled a chair up to her stove & watched her every move. I still think of her every time I cook & make pecan pies & banana pudding❣️😊
Corey If you're recording on a cellphone, then you just pause while you're waiting or to jump to later on what you want us to see. Also turn your phone sideways when recording so we can watch it bigger size. I hope this helps you. Keep the family/cooking videos coming! 😊
Thank you so much for the videos of Mawmaw ❤ I love you letting us watch her in real time. I actually can learn from her. You both are very valuable, priceless 😘😘😘
What a delightfull woman to spend time with watching her cook for her Family and Friends. I also have arthertis and knows how she feels but she trugs on for her Family and Friends. Love the aprons wish she would make mens aprons I would enjoy buying one, you know the ones the chefs wear. I did make her meatloaf and it was delicious, I cut down on the onions, we don't like onions here and I cut down on the oats but put in lots of peppers and did use the Ketchup - YUMMY. I hope she has the strength to continue sharing her stories and recipes with us. Also would be nice to see what she makes on Holidays, I know she goes the extra mile to make them special. Cory I just hope you clean up. Thanks Mamaw's for your recipes and stories. I will continue watching and will tell my friends to watch. LOve those aprons. GOD BLESS YOU.
You have the best mamaw ever! What a legacy she is leaving for her family for many years to cone!! Happy forth to you and your family mamaw! Your the best grandma ever!
Absolutely the best idea ever I. Seems like a blessing , you are bringing me some memories back with my grand parents, so thank you so much. An for the aprons you are making beautiful you are doing great they remind me of the ones my dad‘s mother would sew an she alway sew two pockets on the apron an say they were the place she kept her secret of love in them for everything she cooked! She would say check out see an we would find candy, gum, or sugar cookies in them when we visited! God bless you an your family an happy 4 th of July to everyone! 💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜🙏🏻💜
What a great little dessert this is! Great for kids camp birthday parties, movie night for family time, and many other things..thank you for sharing your recipe!! ❤️
I grew up eating what mama called goulash. It was tomatoes, macaroni and hamburger meat. It was so good. Do you ever make that? If so I'd love to see how it's done. Love, prayers and again, happy 4th!
I’ve never seen s’mores made like this, great idea. I’m 71 and I had things made for me out of feed sacks..my first sewing experience was also an apron…small world.😊❤❤
Watching mamawa taste her dish at the end was gold! 😊 hope you guys have a great 4th of July. This is unique to America. Fascinating to see these recipes that I’ve never heard of! I don’t think anywhere in the world makes these but there in USA
4th of July is almost like your Guy Faulks celebration Loads of fireworks 🎇 Everywhere in in the country. It's the U.S. celebration of independence from England. LOL?
@@dorothyroberts8626It used to be fun, but with all the health and safety issues, it's slowly dying out. Also they cost so much, it's money up in smoke - literally!!
I LOVE s’mores so much! We make them every time we go camping. But now that I watched Mamaw make this dip- I am absolutely going to make this!!!! Thank you for putting this recipe out!!
I don’t know but could you layer graham crackers first put your Hershey’s on top and then start building the flag and then when it melts it’s already melted into the cookie and you could take a spatula to lift up individual pieces of the flag to eat
Love you recipes. Glad you use items from Aldi's because it makes it easier to follow your recipes. I love your apron. I would love to get one because my kitchen is ALL roosters and chickens. I have my Mom"s that was from the 60 and 70's her whole rooster and chicken collection plus more recent ones. Again love your recipes and PLEASE keep sharing. God Bless you and your family.
This is so pretty memaw thank you for sharing this recipe it’s so good. I’m so glad you talk to your children every day so many children forget their parents these days. I have low blood sugar too
Thank you for the recipes can't wait to try them. Such a joy to watch you Corey and your mawmaw she's a gem and you're such a great grandson❤️🤍💙🇺🇲🦅happy America Day 😀
Awesome! I would broil on low setting. Not everyone has this setting unfortunately. If you don't then do like Corey's Mawmaw says. Great idea...that way the sprinkle colors can still be seen with the marshmellows golden instead of blackened. Thanks Corey and Corey's Mawmaw!
Aloha Corey! I'm new to your channel and I just absolutely love your mamaw! She is the sweetest ever!! God Bless your family!! Mamaw has a fan in Hawaii!!
Never known this recipe before I have got to try this !! Thanks so much this is going to be a hit !!! Omg my Mother told us about flour sack material and her Mother sewing things !! Such wonderful stories!!!😢
My grandma used to make what she called " slaw". I wonder if you might have arecipe for her kind. It was just cabbage, not shredded, but cut in small pieces, and tomatoes in bigger pieces. Then she mixed mayonnaise, herbs and horseradish, salt and pepper. I don't know the exact herbs or amounts. It was my favorite food growing up. I have never gotten mine to taste as delicious as hers. God bless you both!
Hello again , so blessed to have found you this summer. I bet Mamaw fixes a really good baked bean dish , would love to see it, and sausage and peppers! Maybe soon Corey, you can get your sweet Mamaw her own microphone to put on her apron 😀
Ohhh how this makes me miss my granny Woolbright 😢😢. I never not one time seen my granny without a apron on over her dresses. She could sit on her hair an when I'd stay with her in the summer I'd take her hair out of the bun she kept it in an brush brush brush til my arm felt like it was gonna fall off, she loved it an I'd scratch her scalp. She made the best chocolate gravy an bisquits I've ever ate. Rihp granny Woolbright...
Mamaw I just love watching yours and Corey's videos. I pray for your legs and feet. That God heals your legs and feet. I know very well about pain.If you would please say a prayer for me for all my pain and arthritis. ❤

25:12 you could also use a kitchen torch to brown the marshmallows on the dip that way you control how dark they get or light if you prefer.
I'm so glad I found your channel I'm watching every day and praying right along with you. That is a very cute recipe my grandkids would love it
That's another pretty dress you look youthful and skin is glowing you seem happy life. I'm happy for you
