Asad has one of the most well done and useful tutorials I have seen for the awesome Avada theme - IF you are building a site from scratch. What I can't seem to find and Avada theme support was not not much help with - is how to use Avada as a new theme template update - to update the design of an already existing site (Twenty Eleven theme in my case) - but keep your existing content. Maybe Builder based themes are not meant for theme updates? I tried a popular Builder Plugin on my site as a test and when you're in the WP Editor and select the Builder tab - your existing page info is not visible in the Builder edit area, so there is no way to add design elements like a toggle or testimonial carousel for example to your existing content. I suspect that had I committed to any changes with that Builder it would have overwritten my existing content so I deactivated that plugin! There needs to be a WYSIWYG WP Builder that shows (and works with) your existing content - like a Dreamweaver for Wordpress! I can't believe there is nothing like that for WP in 2018. I guess finding a theme template you like with short-codes is the best way to go for now...

Thanks for the appreciation. Since it is a general purpose theme and images are not defined for specific locations there is no way to define a size. I would recommend to think of full width images as 1600px wide so if you want to have an image for the whole width of a page make it 1600px wide and if you want half of the page make it around 800px wide :) That will simplify things.

OK. That is infact not a revolution slider but an essential grid. What they have done is to create a custom skin for an essential grid. If you are interested to get started with Essential Grid, I do have a video on my channel :)

I don't seem to be able to find a global place where I can make ALL, or any for that matter, text responsive. The containers are responsive, but the fonts in the text blocks remain unchanged. Could you kindly advise whether there is a way to globally (or any other way) make text instantly responsive upon any browser size? Thanks so much.
Hello Daniel, Thanks for the appreciation. There are global options for site to be responsive. You can find them under Appearance >> Theme Options >> Responsive. Under this tab make sure that responsive is on. If the responsive is turned on then all the columns inside containers will be responsive. You will have to be careful to not use any Inline CSS on your text block which breaks this :) Cheers

I think I've come to realize that for font responsiveness you must stick with the headers h1, h2 etc., it won't work if you enter your own font, font size etc. Since I have your attention, could you please kindly advise if there is a way to change hover color for a container element? I've tried to add hover_color="#003556" in the default editor, right next to where it indicates hover_type="lift" but I couldn't trick it into changing the color as well. Thanks so much. Daniel.
That is correct. You cannot specify the font sizes without thinking of the responsive design :) Another tip will be to use font size in terms of "em" as opposed to px to keep it mobile friendly. For the hover type I did not understand what exactly you mean but hover color should be an option on the builder. If you have a link that you want to change the color on hover, you can write Css for it.www.w3schools.com/css/css_link.asp

I have a questions, i want to change the main color to a light green, I have the code of the color, but when i type color on the search bar, there is like 80 things to change color, i just want to change all of them to a single one. Welxome. You can change just the primary color but I think it would work in your advantage if you change the colors on all the 80 things that come up and show the default color. It will make sure all athe elements are the same color by default :) I like that very much

I use Css to style various elements in Textblock. To answer your question, you do not need any coding knowledge, I do it because its easier and faster. If you plan to build your layout without any css or inline stlye you should know fusion builder elements very well. I would suggest to use the sample content import and modify it. All the best. In the Avada World its called a modal widget. You can use it from your Available Fusion Builder elements. To see a demo check this out avada.theme-fusion.com/modal-popup/

Do you have the Revolution Slider Plugin installed ? It comes packaged with the theme :) but you need to register it to install premium plugins that are bundled with the theme
Most likely your hosting company will be able to resolve that. I cannot be sure of why a plugin install will give you an error. There can be a lot of reasons why. But I recommend checking with hosting first. This is not a theme problem.
This plugin can only be installed or updated, after you have successfully completed tha Avada product registration on the "Product Registration" tab Sir it is written there...can you guide what is it??
Yes. You need to register the theme to be able to install bundled plugins. This was my first comment. You have not registered the theme. Please register the theme. After Installing the Theme, you will need to install 2 plugins (Fusion Core and Fusion Builder) Then when you go to design the page, click the Fusion Builder Button at the top. Best of Luck

I am sorry I am not experienced in RTL. From what I can tell you will need a third party plugin like "RTL Tester" Then you can follow the instructions in my second link. I dont consider Elementor because Fusion builder is better integrated with Avada. I have created content around Elementor and Beaver Builder as well. You can search it on my channel. If you had to use a different theme like OceanWP then you will use Elementor. Sounds Reasonable ?

I think you should put in your description that you use code to modify things and not the fusion builder. I expcted a tutorial on how to fully use fusion builder, but when something doesn't work out using that interface you just jump into code. Thats not something I have the experience to understand.
I am sorry, my intent was to provide a working overview of how to use Fusion Builder for building professional looking layouts. Yes I do like to put in some html however that is not code :) Just simple mark up that I use to try and make elements visually better. Honestly, in theory marketing people can claim that you can build everything visually but I do not think its possible. I will put a disclaimer in my newer videos. Thanks for pointing it out.
