Yeah my wife decided she didn’t want to serve God and abandoned me and our two kids on July 1, 2023. However it is getting easier. Praise be to Jesus for that because truly it crushed me until I pressed into Him. Now it isn’t hard anymore. Christ my King and savior has shown Himself so mightily in all of this. Gods fingerprints are all over this and I’m blown away. It’s crazy to me because on June 4, 2023 is when I dedicated my life to Christ. I knew the Bible better than most but I didn’t fully trust God and most of the stuff I believe now I didn’t believe then. There were years of me being an atheist but never again. God has shown me too much and done to much for me not to believe.
Lovee this needed this I would add that maybe the root cause of contempt is self righteousness not judgement. The 2 are not exactly the same cause judgement is a tool and can be used to make good decisions. And self righteousness is not a tool, it's evil because it is against love

I don't know, I want my husband to lead our family, I don't want him to look to me as a counselor, because he is head of our family as Christ is head of the church. Let's let men be men and lead strong. (All while loving their wives as Christ loves the church)
