What do you think about the Scangrip lights?

Love it. I bought the small hand held one. I will eventually get the bigger lights for the outside.
I highly recommend the Milwaukee underhood light. Wow! I already have a Milwaukee battery and drill. So I just bought the light. It's lite weight and it doesn't get hot. It's a perfect light for interior cleaning.

Thanks for you great video. Really appreciate you demonstrated how the new stand moves. It is indeed more stable than the old version.
One comment about battery issue - Scangrip MultiMatch 3 can be powered by its own power adapter which also charges the battery. So ideally if you have more than one of those MultiMatch 3 (or MultiMatch 8), you can use one power adapter to charge one battery while using the other power adapter to power the light up. Of course, if you have MultiMatch R, it is only cordless with non-removable battery and so situation differs.

I love scangrip and I also have cheap detailing lights that do the job as well. The handheld and headlamp for scangrip are the ones I use often.

I honestly think that this level of equipment is produced for very high end cars and customers paying a premium for their service. I don’t think most people will scrutinize a paint correction with the same intensity for say a $40,000 vehicle. It all depends on your level of clientele and if you’re charging high end prices. An Aston Martin yes, you want the best lighting. Also, I think technology is advancing so quickly now, waiting a year to see what manufacturers can produce now that the demand is realized. I personally work on a wide range of cars but even if I get a sports car, I can manage with the lights we have now. ✌🏼👍

the charger doubles as an AC adaptor for the light. it slides into the back of the light the same way the battery does, so you can use the light either corded or cordless. so there’s never a point in which you can’t use the light. all your batteries dead? just plug it in

You keep mentioning budgets and battery use
My 3 Scangrip Supermatch 8 came with a battery and charger
If you don’t want to use the battery simply plug in the mains lead
Seems to me you can’t afford the best Scangrip lights do you choose to be little Scangrip
    Pathetic
