That’s why I’m recently having ideas of how to make Doomfist a bit or quite a bit more fluid as a Tank than he already is and maybe giving Doomfist a secondary fire being a different ammunition type to the same weapon he has on his left hand (The Handcannon/Shotgun) which is Shotgun Slugs (Long Range Ammunition) that can do considerable damage per shot on long ranges but no farther than 50m or 164ft, after that the damage falloff increase significantly until no damage is done at 60m or approximately 197ft which would give Doom ability to pressure far away targets more effectively but still no where near the pressure heroes like Sojourn, Soldier, Widow and Ashe could put but still threatening enough to deny any of those heroes to stand without cover for too long but, like any idea, this one needs to be experimented with, preferably in the open experimental mode which I’d love to play and see how my idea would play out and if it’s op if strong at all.

your play style is very similar to mine, but I am only able to hit master 2-3, i just cant do much when they go full counter, its always goes like this, I go doom, first round 13-0, they go full swap counter, orisa/hog cassidy sombra ana etc, i can only play safe and land some slam and punch cycles and hope to land a charged punch and one shot at an off angle, i don't know what to do in that situation, its so difficult, i could probably do the same with dva with half the effort, anyways i enjoy watching zbra and big fan.

Might be a little late to tell you but Punch gets refunded if you charge it with block, so you can punch, block and if you get charge you punch again
