Happy new year everyone, I've got a ton of ideas for videos this year, but I'd like to also hear what you'd like to see. My next video I'm either planning on starting a series of videos analyzing my VODs compared against top aimers to help people see what to work on, or make some videos on underrated aim resources. I'd love to hear your feedback!
Best UA-camr for aim trainer, keep up the good work man I really hope more ppl watch it you cause you have so much info, witch helped me comming from bronze-gold to plat-diamond just because of that info. Massive thanks for those small tips!!!!
The emotional part is super important, had it today. My scores were dipping even lower than average and I suddnely started to average above previous highscores and then just a full grade up. Hitting my first master score. Keep grinding AND take breaks, at some point it just clicks.
I just started Voltaic, hit my first silver scen (FuglaaXYZ), the rest are really close to silver too. Not new to keyboard and mouse but I am extremly bad at mouse control I might aswell be new to keyboard/mouse. I spend at least 1-2 hours a day on them unless I am suffering migranes like i do often in which case no aim training for me. Broke them down into 6 days (each sub cat gets a day) and the 7th I do all of them.
Honestly your situation is really common in my experience, you just don't hear as many people talking about it. Developing mouse control with intent is a long process, and you're off to a good start. Keep up the grind and slowly but surely you'll rise up in the ranks.
@@RiddBTW Not worried about rising the ranks to the top, main goal is to be better at mouse control so if I ever find a game to main I can grind that game, I am 36 years old and find games to be boring so I don't really have a main game although I play a little Valorant and waiting for the new Promod to come out, I don't play kvk with a purpose, I just do my thing and grind while listening to music or play with no sound. Here is how I run my days... Sunday - Dynamic (20x's each) Monday - Static (20x's each) Tuesday - Precise (20x's each) Wednesday - Reactive (20x's each) Thursday - Speed (20x's each) Friday - Evasive (20x's each) Sat - All 6 types 5 times each Some scens take me 3 minutes to finish so I will grind them less, like Ground Plaza for example or any one that lasts more then 1 minute to get a score. I also play ranked aimbeast sometimes. Next month aimbeast is getting a multiplayer in closed beta so will be looking forward to seeing how that goes, will be better then aim gods LOL!!! gyazo.com/9933eb32c90cb61bded3d568c6114b20
@cfjlkfsjf Awesome and I'm really glad to see a fellow older millennial grinding it out. I am in the exact same boat as you, my main goal is to improve mousefeel and aim mechanics for FPS, not to grind the scores. But the new benches are _really_ good to do both. Your approach is rock solid, that's similar to how SDK trains. I will say if you want to improve fast, it helps a lot to train with intent. But, hey man if you're chillin listenin to music and grinding that's fine too :) Good luck out there!
In your opinion, is it even worth doing Voltaic fundamental routines at this point versus just playing the benchmarks seeing as the scenarios are straying further apart?
I think there's benefit to doing the fundamental routines if you aren't yet at a point where you can target your weaknesses and train those. Targeting your weaknesses will always be the fastest way to improve. But, yes, now more than ever you can just run the benches and improve steadily.
Hey, I do the Voltaic benchmarks as my routine(70 minutes of the clicking section, 70 minutes of the tracking section and 70 minutes of the switching section) as that is what Christmas said was the best routine right now. In the video though, you said that grinding reactive tracking benchmarks would cause a lot of bad habits to form. You said a remedy to that would be to do Zeeq's tracking playlist. However, if I do both, then I'll be putting way much more time into tracking than clicking and switching which will throw off the consistency. What do you think I should do?
Maybe I should've been more clear that, I find that if you just grind reactive-only scenarios and don't do any smoothness scens, you will pick up some bad habits. So if you're going to do a routine that only has Air in it, you want to put in some scens like centering 180 II or midrange long strafes in between the reactivity scens so you don't overkill on reactivity. If you want to do Zeeq's routine because you are having trouble keeping up with reactivity, I would just run that routine instead of your normal tracking routine. Definitely don't do both...1hour is the "golden" amount of time to spend training daily.
It's very well done, Tammas is actually a big contributor to the aim scene overall, makes lots of great scenarios and contributes to the Voltaic guides. I would say if you're just starting fresh to follow the updated Voltaic fundamentals (just updated a couple days ago) for the absolute latest. But you can't go wrong with Tammas' guide either.
I don't really view them as the same, the Voltaic bencharks are a guide you can use to judge your relative aim skill and see which areas you need to improve on. The Tammas guide is more of a progressive method to improve your aim over time based on your skill level. So you can use both in tandem.
I am a bit of noob when it comes to this stuff. I am really divergent in the scores I am getting in the categories. I am weak over all (bronze-high silver depending on the benchmark), but I get consistently better results with dynamic clicking and speed and reactive clicking benchmarks (high silver). Meanwhile my static clicking is in the bronze dirt. Does that mean I should stick to a bronze routine for everything, or do silver segments for the better categories and bronze for the worse?
I would encourage experimenting more than less, you want to branch out sooner than you think to find out what your limits are and always be trying to push slightly more than what you can currently do. So feel free to do silver segments for sure. My next video is going to be about how to do static clicking properly so maybe it will help you.
@@RiddBTW Thanks for this response ... I am to my own surprise actually managing to hit platinum in one reactive tracking scenario and high gold in the other two, despite struggling with bronze on static clicking and precise tracking scenarios. It will probably take me a lot of effort to hit silver on what I am currently bronze on, but at least I know what I am weak on. I am going to be running quite a few static clicking focused sessions over the next month and then hopefully I can hit silver on them.
@@yedrellow If it helps, it's not uncommon to be strong in some areas and weak in others. I too was much stronger in tracking and reactive tracking when most ppl struggle with it, and weak in static when most ppl are better with static. I think it comes down to which types of FPS games you play more.
i’m confused, so I do these benchmarks and then do I do the fundamentals and after a while I try the benchmarks again? Or do I train everyday on the benchmarks
Depends on your goals, generically I'd recommend only using the benchmarks as a reference point for your weak areas, and generally train fundamentals daily. It's not "wrong" to primarily train on the benches either, the most important thing is to do what keeps you focused and engaged. Don't feel like you have to train a specific way if it makes you excessively bored or frustrated.
@@sseoen.gssaikone8055 Welcome! There's a lot of great players like you with good aim mechanics but lower Voltaic benches (Hollow comes to mind). I'm actually about to release a new vid that talks about this phenomenon. Voltaic benches are a good way to measure relative raw aim skill but it's nowhere close to the complete picture. So it certainly helps give players (especially newer players) a compass to work toward, but like you said, getting high scores in scens is not the only thing that matters.
I go for about an hour per training session, and if you're training on the bench scens maybe 5-10m per scen. No hard and fast rule, as long you're engaged and developing your technique on the scen you can keep playing it. If you're benching I would normally just go 3-5 times on each scen before moving on.

If you get the latest progress sheet from their site, it'll auto-populate those when you fill in the scores. bit.ly/2WB8Vvm
How do you think this compares to Tammy's addendum routine?
