Are you having VMP installing OPGs & crank sprocket???? Good video. Was there a reason why you didn’t go with Lethal Performance and The Mustang King Jared???? He is near your location and they will paint the Whipple for you. If you have a concern I would like to know because I am possibly going to consider him when I get my car that is ordered. Thanks Bro!!! Your Mustang looks great!!!! I ordered Kooks headers with sport cats. Many dynos show 30-40 RWH once boosted with the Whipple 6th gen 3.0.L like what you just installed. Cheers‼️👍👊💪🇺🇸😎🐎
@@gordydexter2615 Thanks man! Main reason for VMP was they do it all in house. Sales, install, dyno, & eventually tuning when these become unlocked. Lethal just sells parts. Nothing against them & I think their blower lid looks cool but I wanted to go somewhere that could get me done A-Z & VMP are top tier in the Mustang/coyote/ford realm. I was told OPG & CS arnt as important on the a10 trans cars but I do plan on doing them regardless for extra insurance.
@ thanks for the feedback!!! I have owned numerous performance cars. I track two of them currently. My neighbor blew is Mustang 2018 GT engine which was the automatic. The oil pump gears were stock and they crumbled inside and that was the cause of the blown engine due to high rpm and lack of oil. He replaced his engine and sold it now he tracks a Dark Horse.
Wow serious power made !! Smh but with two wheels to put that power threw on anything less than a slick is a death trap, how is the launch aspects of it with that power ?? Probably also want to get a tune set on initial take off so the power doesn't come on so dramatically to get traction but very nicely done
@@4077661466jp yea it’ can be sketchy rolling into it down low no doubt. No launches from a dig yet, waiting to update to the FP half shafts before doing that haha. I deff plan on do a drag pack to help with the traction issues along with a long list of suspension mods
Why doesn't anyone go with Kenny bell, you do the snow performance fuel system a kenny bell mammoth kit long tube headers and can make north of 1000 whp
Wow that kit needs to be intercooled without a doubt otherwise there's gonna be a price to pay and reliability should be #1 rather than max power made cause that motor won't last long and that's alot of money invested to just grenade the motor, for a tire look into toyo proxes Ra-1's treadwear is 100 and are very soft sticky compound but wear quickly if used daily only downside
@@4077661466jp it’s is intercooled, all whipple superchargers are. These coyotes just run really hot and it doesn’t help being in hot humid SFL so extra cooling mods are essential. Upgraded heat exchanger & an ice tank are two things that will most likely be added along with an oil cooler. As for a sticky tire I do like the Toyo proxes I’ve ran them once before as well as the Nitto nto5r.
@ I boosted my 17 GT nearly 5 years ago. I have a VMP GEN2R and love it. I run Boostane most tanks for added insurance. Particularly In the summer and I usually 4oz. My plugs do turn light brown. Doesn’t bother me however I just had the trans out to upgrade the clutch. I had to take the passenger downstream cat off. I was able to see the inside of the upstream cat and it was heavily coated in the brown residue. Like I said the car does run amazingly well but it made me wonder if it would eventually hurt the cats / O2’s If I were to go to a race even I’d probably run more than the 4oz per tank. Just something to think about. Most say the coating isn’t a issue. At least you’re in Florida and don’t have to worry about emissions. Unfortunately I live in a emissions state so I think about the Cats health sometimes.
It looks like you have the 6 piston front brakes and 4 piston rear or am i mistaken. Im asking becaue you dont have the performance package neither do i but im looking to upgrade the brakes to the pp brakes on my gt
@@hds8182 No I still have the base (non-pp) brakes as well. I as well wanted to switch out mine for the PP brakes but all the ones I’ve seen for sale are just the calipers. I’m also thinking of maybe just biting the bullet and doing a set of lightweight aftermarket brakes.
The base brakes are still very stout. Unless you live on the track I wouldn’t go through the trouble to switch to PP brakes. Even the base brakes are fine on track with appropriate pad and rotor upgrades.
Always spicy!!💃Congrats! Stoked to see the Dr. return to the lab.
I need to come down and take pictures before you take the advans off.

It's just mind blowing what VMP pulled of with that Gen 2 Mustang GT with the same stage 3 kit!! Freaking 790 Wheel with a 3.875 pulley...

Aren’t you supposed to add the Boostane first? To mix? Glad I ran in to your channel.
@@boomtownJ I’m not sure honestly. I’m sure it wouldn’t make a massive difference either way if your tank isn’t fully empty.

Biger injectors, oil cooler, intercooler, headers, and they need to unlock it so it can be tuned completely

Would be awesome if you could get a lav mic. The audio is pretty trash in the cabin while you’re driving.

You really only need about 4 oz of Boostane with 16 gallons of 93 to yield 97 octane.
@@AB-coyote good to know. We get really crappy fuel here in FL. I’m gonna be installing a gauge soon to monitor octane / flex fuels
