Dig this! Between your UA-cam, tiktok & insta, you’re covering a lot of ground in a great way. There are lots of people publishing all kinds of “how-to cook” noise all over these platforms, but you’re one of the few that are cutting through it all. Awesome content - zero pretentiousness. Keep going, man!!!
This is very helpful. It mirrors a lot of the habits I had as a barista. Why doesn't anyone else talk about practical things like this? Someone needs to give you a show man. And as always, I love that your videos aren't commercials in disguise.
I hope you become super successful and make it big so you can move into a home with a real chefs kitchen. Your content is very relaxing and well thought out.
@@Lee_lee_27_7_27 what I mean is that he's a chef and that's his kitchen and he's made it a chef's kitchen. Not everyone, even if they have the money to, necessarily needs a big kitchen.
I used to do this in my tiny Baltimore studio only because the kitchen was literally in a standard size contractor's closet (folding doors and all). There was only one small shelf above the stove/fridge and a whole INCH of counterspace. It got SUPER annoying, though, since I liked to bake. A lot.
I’m binge-watching all of your Videos/ tiktoks for the vibes and because this is my dream and see your way to work and your approach to the kitchen make me dream. Thank you, for real. Much respect and Love from Italy ❤️

Deli container, that's the name of them!! I've been collecting them from going to get kava 😂😂 I'm going to order a ton now that I know what they're called. Thank you!!

thanks for this! I'm a prep cook and i've been trying to focus on keeping my station organized. this is my first big restaurant gig so it's helpful to hear tips from a seasoned professional.
Hey papi, been watching all your UA-cam and tiktok videos for a while now, and I gotta say they inspire me like nothing else. Absolute favorite person to watch on either platform. Thank you so much and keep up the awesome work!! Separate note: I remember you saying in a tiktok you’ve worked in some Indonesian kitchens. Did you ever do much with tempeh?
Thank you for sharing your tips. I follow you on Instagram and Tik Tok and I enjoy watching you. I also enjoy cooking and it’s always nice to get a few pointers.
I don't use Instagram or TikTok, so I'm super happy to have discovered you right here on UA-cam, sad_papi! Damn, you're an amazing chef (wooo! and gorgeous, too.), I wish I could sample some of your food at your restaurant. Your dishes make me hungry and inspire me to get up and create. :) Seriously, I've learned a lot from your videos... recipes, tips, tricks, and cooking techniques I never knew anything about until now. Thanks so much for taking the time to share what you do. Much love from Miami, FL. Happy Holidays!
sad_papi: how to work clean also sad_papi: *wearing ecchi sweater* 😂 Thanks for this video, switching to deli containers has really helped my kitchen game!
I feel like at this point I have a pretty good handle on keeping my mis en place/workspace clean as I go, but one of the things that still gets away from me (and most videos never talk about), is staying clean during the execution phase. Like, when I have 3 large pots and large tools like chinois or giant bowls/strainers, and you don't have time to clean them in the moment, where do you pile them up to keep your kitchen organized? Can't really use the sink because I'll often still need it, and some things are too big for the dishwasher. I realize that this is why restaurant kitchens can have a section to stack dirty dishes, and they'll often employ dishwashers during service, but how do you translate this to your own home kitchen?
This was so interesting, thank you ! May I just ask how you keep your oil squeeze bottle so pristine ? My ends up super oily, greasy, and most annoyingly, sticky, and I can’t get the sticky texture off no matter how much I scrub it when it needs a refill ! Thanks in advance
Thank you. I feel so affirmed 😀 I learned second hand and often doubt skills. Got everything except oil bottle in a ramekin to catch the inevitable drip coating (been using a paper towel square). Aleppo pepper! That was my 2019 discovery. So good! What’s been your “I did not know that. I’m gonna start doing that” for 2020? And your top ingredient or product discovery this year, pls? Great content. 🤙🏻
Love this, need this, will drag my flatmate through a massive kitchen reorganization. 🥰 Also, I'm really excited for the tools video, since I've been trying to upgrade my stuff, but I'm haunted by the idea of buying things I don't actually need 😅 Thank you! 🧚🏻♀️
I’m left handed in the kitchen so seeing you do everything “backwards” is stressing me out omg the knife handle on the cutting board. I really love your videos and was wondering if you could do something with leeks?
So organized! After I watched this I started organizing my kitchen lol. Have you made a recipe with the guajillo chili you have.. wasn’t expecting to see it among tour things so now I’m really curious 🤔🤔🤔 love your vids
oh thank you, definitely had at least a few good habits drilled into me lol and I spend most of the day in the kitchen, recording for either TikTok, instagram, UA-cam etc.

So I’m very lucky to have learned under so many amazing chefs
I had onion scraps in a deli container last night & I went to throw the scraps in my compost bin & it slipped out of my hand & ended up all over my floor 🥴
You should open a free amazon store so you do make money off products you list. It makes sense. You can section your store and make a little bit of cash. You deserve it
Out of everything in that video that was your takeaway lol. I shop at restaurant supplies so that bag of limes was about the same price as a regular grocery, I’m going to make lime pickles
