I see that HTVront has a pre sale going now for a new version of the heat press where you can control the pressure! Edit to add: a review is coming soon of the new machine! :)
@@stickersxsamantha That’s GREAT! I hope you don’t mind that I left such a long comment to you. I’m sorry you had such a terrible experience with the first auto heat press. I am watching your first video that’s in your list of videos. You just said that you use Vista Print. You have a real system going there getting ready for the holidays. Great job!
@@stickersxsamanthaHow soon is soon. I just got the HTVront for Christmas and I don’t do a ton it is all for personal use but now I am worried I should return it.. I have an easy press that I can’t use because I am apparently a weak a$$ B so I had heard all the amazing things about this machine and that it handled the pressure and now I am afraid it isnt going to work for me :(
I started with the Cricut Easy Press also. I bought the HTVRONT auto press about a year ago. I love everything about it. I added an extra heat mat for better pressure and it works great. I do all types of sublimation and my blanks sub vibrant. I’d recommend this to everyone.
I’m so glad it works for you! I just couldn’t justify spending that price and then having to make my own adjustments to it. Thankfully they have made a new machine where you can adjust the pressure! Doing a review soon
I stared out with the Cricut Easy Press 9x9 in 2018 and I haven’t had a problem with it. I upgraded to the Cricut Auto Heat Press, 15x12. Had it for about a year and a half and I have not had any problems with it. I passed the easy press to my son and no complaints yet. Thank you for your honest review because I was thinking of purchasing one for him.
I would love to try the cricut auto press it’s just so out of my price range at the moment! I’m glad you had great experiences with it though! I will definitely get it one day 🤞🏼
I feel your pain. I bought the same one over a year ago and after two presses, the machine started beeping and the timer wouldn't count down. I tried contacting the company via email and never received a response. I saw one other review by an individual that stated he had a problem with the same heat press, tried to contact the company, and received no response. Fortunately, I was able to return mine for a full refund. I've purchased two of the HPN CraftPro 15" x 15" Crafting Transfer Machine from Heat Press Nation. The machines are great and their customer service is excellent. I hope this helps.
great to know thank you so much! Also, i keep hearing HTVront has less that great customer service, so disappointing since theyre such a big company in our space!
I absolutely love mine for making my glass cutting boards, coasters and now Christmas ornaments. No problems here. I went and purchased their tumbler press and they both work well for me💕
I bought the new HTV Ront manual heat press, the control pad does not beep when it is finished or when it comes to temperature. They won’t answer my request for warranty. I will never buy from HTV RONT again. The manual press is same way, everything sticks to the heat plates
I hated that it got stuck to the heat plate and I honestly had a difficult time with customer support too! Super disappointing because I love some of their products
I've had mine a few months, and it sublimates great, but I've only been doing material. I watched tons of videos before buying and saw several complaining about the pressure, especially with wood or ceramic. I'd guess that you needed something solid to elevate the platen and to eliminate the give, not squishy. There were enough complaints that they just released a newer model that allows for pressure adjustment. Good to know about the Teflon. I've only used parchment paper, so I'll be sure to toss the Teflon.
I've had mine for a year and watched reviews before I bought mine too. Love it, but the same, needed to add another mat to create pressure. I was able to find a rubber heat press pad and it works great! The cricut easy press was killing my back too. I appreciate your honest opinion of the machine too!
HeY Samantha - I looked at several videos also. It's my understanding the HTVRont Auto Heat Press 2 has "pressure options" built in. I believe it starts at 50 lbs and goes up to 170 lbs of pressure. Please take another look at it. I hope this helps...
For softer substrates I usually put a card stock under the item. Or, a neoprene pad 1/4 " on top of the platen pad and a card stock paper under the substrate. I love this press, and it works fabulous for sublimation I have used it for over 18 months. Sorry you are a hater of the product.
Not a hater of the product just had a bad experience and wanted to share :) I tried adjusting things and putting stuff under it like I stated in the video, unfortunately nothing helped. But they’re making a new machine where you can adjust the pressure now! Very excited about that
I love mine and never had an issue with sublimation once I played with the time and temperature. Their time and temperature seems to be wrong. I bought pressing pillows for the items I press that need a little more support especially thin items.
I want to return mine. Does anybody know how to get the press to close so I can put it back in the box as it arrived? The foam protection that was in the box doesn’t fit on the press anymore because it’s in the open position. Any tips? I’d be grateful TIA.
i had the same problem with sublimation, but the thing is your colours are the same throughout mine wasn't like that. I was so disappointed since I paid $3,000TT for it including shipping and handling. I even used my heat press mat and it still didn't work. I don't know why with things bad reviews are only seen after it is bought. I wanted to love it but I couldn't, however, I just purchased the 2, hoping for the best with this one.
I always have to adjust my colors before printing with sublimation, definitely one of the most tedius parts of the sublimation process but once you figure that out it gets better!
Completely agree! Glad yours works :) they announced they made a new machine that you can control the pressure now so hopefully no one has the same problem I did
I just bought this heat press 2 days ago after doing weeks of research and like you, didn't find any negative reviews anywhere. I haven't used it yet, but am looking forward to very soon. I'm thinking you possibly just got a bad unit. I don't know if you reached out to the manufacturer to verify or not, but it is possible.
I hope it works better for you! I did talk to them and it wasn’t an issue with my unit unfortunately. Just not the right product for me. 🤞🏼 yours works for you
Im so glad it worked for you, as I showed in the video I added multiple things and it still didn’t help me unfortunately and to me it’s not worth it to pay $200+ and then have to make adjustments still. Thankfully they’ve created a new press that they’re sending me to test out, and it actually allows you to control the pressure, 🤞🏼 this one works better!
If you are a printer and don't have a heat gun, you're going to fail, period. Just because you put it, a temp does not mean it's that temp. It's as simple as that. I have one and love it because I know how to use it.
HTVront sent me the new version of the machine where they’ve added a pressure control setting and it works amazing! My issue had nothing to do with the temperature:)

I’ve been seeing a lot of great reviews on their new heat press. Are you going to give it a try??? 11:56
@ yes, very soon :)

I LOVE my 16x20 Fancier Studios heat press and it's super affordable! It presses sublimation like a dream. I got mine in eBay.

Now they have improved it! HTVRONT 2 as of Nov 2, 2024 😃
I’m so glad it works for you! I just couldn’t justify spending that price and then having to make my own adjustments to it. Thankfully they have made a new machine where you can adjust the pressure! Doing a review soon
THANK YOU. This was in my top three on my purchase list for heat presses. This kind of thing is SO IMPORTANT.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for your honesty that's 1 and a million now a days.
I appreciate that! Thank you for watching!
I have the HTVRONT press and I haven't had any problems. I just purchased mine a month ago. Yes, I use it for sublimation.
I’m so glad you haven’t had problems! I’m testing out the new version soon where you can control the pressure! So excited!

I forgot to add it does wonders with sublimation
Perfect! thank you for watching and commenting! Happy crafting!!
i love my htv press, used it already like crazy love the pull out part and lots of hacks for the pressure out there.
They made a new version where you can adjust the pressure! Trying it soon and I’m so excited 🤞🏼
@@stickersxsamantha i put in a wool mat or towel if doing a tee shirt, love it

Yes! I’ve been hearing that they made a new one, that’s so awesome I’m glad they’re giving people the options they want :)
I'm on number 3 replacement. I keep getting an e31 error. Which is internal heat not detected, same with the mug press
I think it depends on what you are trying to do. I sublimate shirts, keychains, name tags, air fresheners, coasters and so much more with ease.

That’s great!

Glad you enjoy it!

thabj you for being honest. xx
I wish I would have seen this before I purchased mine and before the new one came out! :(
Oh no is it too late to return?
Machine is just crap hoping new version with pressure settings is better but the loklik version looks better than the htvront one so will try that
I’ll be doing a review of the new one soon! Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏼
It's because you put the teflon on the bottom and not on top
ive tried it both ways and it didnt work, not a huge deal, just the cherry on top of the problems lol
I have the cricut auto press
Making with Marilyn uses this heat press all the time with sublimation
thats awesome! it works for some, thankfully they made a new machine with pressure control which was the issue i had :)
sorry but its a great press, yes add a silicone mat and your pressure will be fine.

😂😳YOU PUT THE ITEMS ON THE PAPER HEAT NOT 👉🏻UNDER😮 WHY..THE HEAT IS TOO HOT FOR YOUR IMAGES 😅THAT DAMAGED THEM
It didn’t damage them, I do it all the time :)
