I should explain Broly's grudge. Broly doesn't hate Goku just because he cried a lot as a baby. He actually hates him because Goku's crying lured king vegeta to him, and that's how he found Broly was strong as fuck. Because of this, King Vegeta tried to kill the infant Broly. That's why Broly holds that grudge against Goku. Because Goku had indirectly ruined his life.
Ok, so the reason why Goku one shot Broly, was because bro’s energy was so overwhelming, it made his body a ticking time bomb. That punch was in the right spot, that it made his energy explode out of his body.

Maybe Broly hates Goku so much because he associates him with the destruction of his planet, getting stabbed, his dad getting smoked. Broly spent a huge amount of time with Goku and it wasn't a good time, cause he kept on crying and keeping him away, so maybe he associates all that other trauma with him as well, which is why he hates him so much.
Aight so uh common misconception but the reason broly hates goku is what he represents to him. Think of it from broly’s perspective. He was born next to goku, already annoying him as a baby, he had to save his dad from the planet exploding, then his dad treated him like a slave his whole childhood(shamoshians, neo planet Vegeta, other enslaved aliens), then he sees the same guy who started the domino effect again. Broly got every right to be pissed at goku. B3cause not only that, but goku grew up with a wife and kids and an all around great life, wall broly had to grow up from the trenches despite being the legendary super saiyan.

the explanation to this ending is, broly self exploded and before that his pwoer got so low that even goku was able to catch his attack and give a punch to make self destruction of his body start immediatly, other explanation that only works because of dbs, goku got the power of a ssj god momentarily, dbz broly is different than dbs broly, dbz broly is made to crush completly sayan forms, as for dbs broly, he is made to crussh ssjg forms, he is just another lvl
also apparanetly the only reason why goku one tapped in this movie due to the fact that broly power was overflowing. Not only that goku was zenkai boosted like 3 times during the fight and the other fighters was also zenkai boosted atleast twice or more as well. So when goku got his energy from the other z fighters, he received multiplied buffs to him and the last dose of energy of vegata caused a psuedo fusion between all the z fighters due to how the energy is transfered. These buffs to goku allowed him to capitalized off the overflowing amount of power like the metal cooler movie.
Note this wasn't confirmed but that what many fans spectulated.

Nah, that's just plot armor. Broly was beating Goku so bad at that point that whatever energy they transferred over to him should've been spent trying to keep him alive. If a fully charged Kamehameha at point blank wasn't able to get Broly to explode, I doubt a single punch coming from energy of exhausted fighters will make a difference.
I’m not gonna lie that climax was dumb but if 4 of the strongest fighters on earth gave there energy to the strongest fighter and landed a punch, that’s like the strength of 5 people punching at once so it makes a little bit of sense how broly died with one punch
it makes sense just little..but if barely any of them could hold they own against broly mid 1v5 the least I would think is he’d only get staggered and not completely get folded😂

From what I understood about the ending is that Goku was just tanking all of the hits until he had enough power then unleashed all of what they gave him at once. But I don't think it was a normal punch I think Goku forced all of that power that he gained into Broly by punching him and that caused Broly to explode from the overload of energy.
