This song was straight out of the newspaper. 2pac read about it and was inspired to make a song about it.
I wouldn’t say "inspired" more disgusted over the little news coverage in a society that seemed not to care
@@nicsundberg8505 inspired def: of extraordinary quality, as if arising from some external creative impulse.
Synonyms: stimulate, motivate, cause, incline, persuade, encourage, influence.
But I know what you mean though
@@Jacpot562 I get the definition of inspire. The context you used it in was plain, comes off like something good that happened. I’m just sayin one of those synonyms probably would’ve fit better or if you elaborated more. Respect tho
He read the newspaper while, on set of filming Juice.
White Folks Think They Slick Only Reacting To Pac's Pain Songs And Not Gangsta Confident Pac
Some songs require a lyric video, but Tupac always has a clear delivery. As others have said, the music video drives this one home.
For sure , i was think that too
True 👍
It's true tupac
Clear delivery ,😂 you definitely right
True story: In 1990, nearly 400 girls younger than 15 had children in New York City. Another 675 had abortions. But one pregnancy, in particular, garnered national headlines. On March 27, 1991, a 12 year old gave birth to a baby boy in the Noble Drew Ali Plaza, a 385-family, privately owned, federally subsidized project in Brownsvill
no story... its USA...
You should know that this was a TRUE story, Tupac saw the story in the papers while filming his movie Juice (must watch movie), This song alone i can teach this for a whole semester. Very glad you reacted to this song, Tupac such a amazon person, i got so much to say that i dont know where to start, we love you Pac, thank you for giving the world timeless music and everything else you done. Keep listening to more Tupac spread the word so younger generation can learn...learn from our past and not let history repeat itself
She may not knew this was a true story and she may not listen to tupac in her life.
This song was an example in the socials studies book we had in high school, I can't remember the context tho
Should have done the music video, The music video makes this song...this song should always be reacted to in a music video
She was so not ready 😂
Imagine if she couldn't press pause
Masterpiece....The baby survived but the mother (Brenda) was murdered. Imagine 2pac wrote that song when he was 19yrs old.
7:57 no, this is a true story. While it was happening it barely got news coverage so he made it a GOTDAMN RADIO SINGLE, so they’d have no choice but to listen. Became national news, damn genius.
Tupac is a genius in confronting us and making us uncomfortable by speaking his truth, raw, uncut and full of emotion ❤
Masterful storyteller. The way he narrated this story is truly genius
The baby survived. When she walked away from trash baby started crying so she got the baby back out.. when she got home her mother scolded her so she ran away. It's based off a true story.
@@kesjmarwashington4681Ethel Love was the actress in the video not the girl it’s about.
@@princess_pinkxoxo2028 you're right
She went back and got the baby out the trash. This is a true story
Real world can often be shocking and make us sick. But it's the real world. Great reaction.
Been waiting for this one. Pac has such an amazing range.
Tupac was determined to give everyone insight into the environment he came from. Pac once said he will not be the one to change the world..but he guaranteed he would spark the brain that made the change
I recommend “mama’s just a little girl”
Very poetic song 🔥 and great music track.
That’s definitely next
The video for this song is extremely well done this is based off a true store Pac read about this in the paper while filming the movie Juice
It's crazy, labels didn't even want anything to do with this song because of how dark and raw it is.
Now if u reacted to the actual video of this you would be crying trust me..this was my 1st ever 2pac song I heard he was only 19/20yrs old when wrote this incredible
Yep it is one of those songs. A definitive Tupac song. While he was popular before this song, I do feel like this song propelled him to superstar status. It's not supposed to be easy to hear, but it's the truth of what goes on sometimes in the ghetto and in less privliged areas around the world. It's not only the story of "Brenda" but of a lot more people than we'd think who can't make ends meet, who end up having kids. Life isn't fair a lot of the time, and it's sad, and that's what this song portrays so well.
The best story teller in the history of the rap and hip-hop game.
This song was shocking and sad but we never forgot about the song because this is still problem that we can't ignore. 2pac was smart to tell us this story.
I think he means life is a roll of the dice where you’re born. If you get born in that life you don’t have much of a choice. So I appreciate the little I was given even more.
This is the very first 2Pac song I ever heard. I instantly knew he would be one of the greatest artists of all time. That was back in the 90s.
this is actually a true story. pac filmed a very emotional MV to this song.
You really gotta listen to this song while watching the video, one of the greatest music videos of all time. It really adds to the music.
Tupac hits deep into reality 🎉🎉🎉
Based on true story😢. Tupac was a legend and legend never Die
It’s hitting you hard because it’s a true story…
It’s a true but heartbreaking story he read about. Tu pac was way before his time. And left this life too soon. He is one of the greatest story telling poets to walk this earth! Shame the change he could make today if he was still alive. Still mad as hell he was shot.
Your reaction was the purpose of him making this song. For ppl who dont see those kinda situations to know stuff like that does happen in real life and we should pay more attention to our kids.
Yea you need the video with this song
This was the first song that I had ever heard from 2pac like, 30 years ago. I know every word by heart, but still, when I listen to it, I STILL get emotional... I have four kids. Two of them are girls... Maaan!!!!
This is a true story. Brenda wanted to throw the baby, but go through with it and keep the baby. Which caused her family to put her out. Brenda ended up getting killed.
Great Reaction, also the song was base on a true story. It's was probably best you didn't see the video you might went into a seizure.
The way you was taking two sips of your drink to compose yourself made me laugh lol
Kathryn... I can honestly say ... I LOVE YOU! xoxo ... The way you express your feelings when you react to all 2Pac lyrics. ... Priceless. I hope you will watch the Official Video of this song. 🥰
The song is very true to life. It tells a tale of tragedy, ends abruptly, no ceremony, no looking deeper, and life goes on. It is sad to say it like that, but that is what makes the story that much more deeper. Why is there no outrage? Why no looking further into how this could happen? Why is nothing done to make sure this story doesn't happen to someone else? .......we just move on......
Don't mind me ♥️ basically binge watching all ya Tupac reactions one by one 🥰 My favourite artist
Get your tissues ready this one will get ya
I really hope you dive deep into DMX
1) Lord give me a sign
2) Ready to meet him
in the beginning pac sets up the scenario, but his Friend says "That's not our problem, that's up to Brenda's family" then pac replies "Well, let me show you how it affects our whole community"
lmaooo, i had the same reaction when i first heard this song...
This is one of my favorite Pac songs. You need to be harder, life isn't sunshine and rainbows. We aren't all born blue eyed and blonde.
The baby didn't pass away..she kept it
Pac read about this story in his local newspaper and made this song about it. This was the first single of his first album.
Good to see a reaction from someone that actually understands the beginning when he says she barely knows her name
The vevo video explains everything in this sad true story
Man just imagine if she couldn't press pause lol when this song first came out some ppl didn't have that option
She’s shook
rightfully so
Can’t remember the FIRST times I heard this song
But I know I been listening to Tupac since 1999 I was just 8 years old back then!
Throughout the years his lyrics never lost their sting, in fact they still resound loud and clear to this day .. perhaps even more so than they did back in the early 1990s
Suggestions:
Letter 2 My Unborn
Until The End Of Time
And if you haven’t heard Changes that’s a good one too
He was 19 when he wrote that
Tupac read a story in the paper about a similar situation and that’s what inspired the song.. I think watching the video helps take some of the sting off the lyrics..I enjoyed your reaction 👍🏽
Welcome to 2PAC world the emperor of rap the master story teller
this is the power of Tupac if you think this gives you chills watch the music video
True story, best to watch the music video popping up on your screen right there
Imagine. This was a normal story back then in those days in those areas. Where we used to call home
This is a normal story today what you mean
@@pleaseshutup7053 true but not as worst as Brenda
@@reportthejuice there are worse stories than Brenda I saw one video of a father keeping his daughter captive abusing her and having children with her and they would be captive also
The video made this song stand out more
**Apologies for the messed up editing**
listen 2pac only god can judge me 😘😘
2pac really got the message across to u cos I can see your reactions 💯
Been waiting for this one
Really wish modern rappers covered topics like this more often no matter how hard it is to hear, it needs to be said by someone
Its a real life story that he read in a newspaper and didnt got the attention back then thats why he maid that song because it botherd him deeply
THIS IS A TRUE STORY. GOGGLE IT
Its a true story he read in a newspaper
I heard that the baby, in the story that inspired this song, is actually doing good for her now.
Ending always touches my soul "No fooood to eat, no plaaaace to sleeeeep"
Love the way 2PAC Lyrics Impact You he was the Greatest at that Timr until he died for a reason even tho my favorite Rapper was & still is NaS who also got caught up in the 2PAC West Coast vs East Voast Beef. This song has an official Music Video that guides you through everything happening. I hope you do more 2PAC & NaS Songs also,i would recommend you,"Rule"(Feat. Amerie),"One Mic","If I Ruled The World"(Feat. Lauryn Hill),"Black Girl Lost" & "I Can" by Nas i think you will like them as well
the whole story make sense if you look at the music video.. the hidden message is in the music video
He spit the truth. Sad but these things still happen like they did then. Pac is the truth!
You realy need 2 listen hold ya head and untill the end of time pure classics
I often forget how so many people are just unaware of the realities of the ugly, cold, and dark world that we live in. And it's not only in the "ghetto". Brooke Skylar Richardson had her daughter at 18 and buried her in the backyard of her parents' home. 2pac was the master of giving us a glimpse at what many of us choose to ignore.
When you watch the video tho.... real tears....cuz.....😢 The... video..........hit...........different..😓
2pac broke you good in this song. The music video would get you crying for sure.
This song was an anthem and I m too old to belive this become a reaction video on yt.
Loved your reaction! Truly a sad fate.
Brenda was a real girl and that was a real story Pac read for several week in the news paper.
This is the Brenda the Eminem reference’s in the absolutely crazy song…. ‘Stay Wide Awake’… always paying homage.
I only saw your reaction to mockingbird....and i even cried now before even watching my idols painful song #pac❤
Brenda went back for her baby.
This was a true story, there is a picture of the girl at the end of the video, the mom retrieved the baby from the trash heap but you know the gate of mama
Great genuine reaction. You should watch the music video for this song. You’ll understand it better
He wrote a mini movie in a song. Tupac was a poet
You showing the Lyrics is awesome and Brenda was a baby and she didnt know what to do and don't see Brenda as a bad person.
Keisha's Song is the spiritual successor to this song written by one of the current greats in Kendrick Lamar. Its a must listen
No cap them end of song break downs in the 90s was crazy
tupac nothing to lose is a good song to react❤✌🏽
HAY THIS HAPPEN"S EVERYDAY ALL OVER JUST SAYING !!!!!!!! PLEASE DON"T EVER RUN FROM THE TRUTH FACE IT THEN FIX IT !!!!! TAKE CARE EVERYONE....
The baby survived, she picked it back up from the trash heap. Yes she got killed. It's based on a true story. RIP Pac
This was actually a true story, Pac and Omar were filming Above the Rim I think and they witnessed a story that someone just threw a baby from a window some sort of similar story to PAC’s song Brenda got a baby because Omar said the story messed Pac up while they were filming he couldn’t concentrate he wasn’t happy anymore as they continued filming. Omar didn’t even know he was already making a song about it .
The video of this song is really good you just rewatch it with the video aswell.
This was from Tupac's 1rst Album, then "Keep Ya Head Up" on his 2nd Album so now you wonder why he became so Huge in the Hip Hop Community. Do "Unconditional Love" by 2PAC,"Life Goes On" by 2PAC & "Black Girl Lost" by NaS
Yeah he seen a tiny article one day and decided to make it huge
If you watch the video, it just hits deeper
YOU AMAZING REACT 2PAC "HIT EM UP"
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE next 2pac
She was 12 and had a baby on a bathroom floor I wouldn’t blame the baby
i dont think your ready yet for 2pac Hit em up.
LMAO, ME EITHER...😂😂
A girl in my neighborhood was pregnant at 15 dead by 19. We knew her well. 🙏🏾
If you really want to hear a real deep and I'll even say dark song from 2pac then you should listen and react to a song he did called So Many tears and another song he did called Only God can judge me.
