Why cant modern arcade racers get this sense of speed down? These bikes look like rockets hurtling down the tracks barely in control. Its freaking awesome.

I think you forgot that all the riders in Freekstyle are real-life people. Metz and Deegan voiced themselves believe it or not, and I'm pretty sure Leeann Tweeden voiced herself too. There's also a lot of sponsors and other real-life motocross stuff in the game, like UFO and Ecko.

One the best niche games ive ever played. The rubberbanding is on a whole other level though, i wish theyd set an upper limit for that. I remember i got really good at some of the tracks and even when i was pushin the hard limit with skips and whatnot, they were right there to punish my first mistake.

I think it’s worth some time, I had fun getting used to doing tricks and I recently went back to it and played some multiplayer against my friend and it was still fun. Try out the Asian copy
