FIA judges if you are reading the comments and you should, it is not too late to re-evaluate your decision and strip Fraga from his victory, because it is the right thing to do. The lift off at La Source was bad enough, but the lift off at eau rouge on the following lap, should have cost Fraga the race. It was not only ‘dangerous’, because it could have ended in a crash and spoiled the race, but the very spirit of that move should have been severly punished. What Fraga did at eau rouge and La source, in a battle for the championship win, is not too far from what Latkovsky’s did to Myazono. In fact Latkovsky should be suspended, and not be allowed to participate in the next championship. 10sec penalty is a joke.
I remember what Fraga did in 2018 in the last race at La sarthe, he went from tenth to first place against the best, the day any of these players do something similar in this championship, I say, which is better than him...
hadn't even seen how unsportmanlike fraga was at the beginning :o did anyone see how he pushed off rubilar while rubilar was ahead tbh in the first corner. makes his case even worse he shouldn't have won this event.
@Alex yeah the porsche supercup has some intense racing. I guess you're right about people getting away with this all the time, in DTM back in the day people actually raced like this all the time, but because you don't have to fear many consequences when you ram someone off in the game it goes on more frequently so I don't like it. many do it on purpose or just drive aggressive as hell/ don't care much about collisions like almost nobody does today in real life racing because they can get away with it.
I don't think he was wrong at T1 against Rubilar. I mean, he had the apex, so maybe Rubilar should know there would be no room there? Also, letting someone by isn't illegal. The only thing that really wasn't fine in my book was the lift in the end. Five seconds felt a cheap price to pay for that. Had he not lifted, he would sure be overtaken by the end of the straight - he would pass Hizal again, because he was low on fuel, but Fraga didn't know this at the time.
Juanudado check it again. Fraga was not so clean, but not dirty. He was smarter than Hizal. The one that deserves the podium is Miya. His race was ruined by Lat and he didn’t cryed. He keep fighting and finished in 4th. Hizal was going to be out of fuel anyway. Igor was going to pass him again and again. Hizal don’t deserve be the winner. Also, if he keep fighting, the 5s penalty against Igor could helped him to get the victory. So no. Hizal don’t deserve it.

All this comments on IOF Is totally unfair, why people see it like this? He didn't crush lightning did he? If you are in the lead you are controlling the pace isn't it? If for some its dangerous don't follow so close then. Great mental battle, i would do exactly the same for victory. Hazal had many chances, but he did not use it.
Why? Because stuff like that is not fair racing, in fact it would be dangerous in real motorsport, moves like that. Someone could get killed, crashing and spinning their car and hitting the wall at over 250 km/h. There is a thing called sportmanship in every sport, Igor Fraga was being very unsportsmanlike here and deserves all the criticism he gets for this incident.

Fraga intentionally lifted halfway the throttle when going through the uphill S-curve knowing that Hizal would have to hit the brake to avoid him. So, in a way he kind of brake checked him in a part of the track that would normally be flat out in those cars.
IRL if you would lift in radillion the guy behind you would have smashed into your back! This is unacceptable! ua-cam.com/video/dZUrl1QmeuM/v-deo.html :)
Latkowski's penalty was ridiculous. Unbelievable. He should be banned for a year or some other penalty. I won't be tuning in after that. Not the first time that the penalty makes no sense for the intent and action the driver made.
Everyone should expect Fraga to win! After all, he's a real world racer and Motorsports champion. These other guys are just kids trying to beat him. Recently Fraga also win McLaren Shadow e-sports championship, in New Zealand he won the Toyota Cup in real world racing. He is the best!
Yes Fraga was a bit dirty and he was penalized for it. If Hizal keep his head on he would have won but he lacks that mental fortitude. Hizal needs to grow up. That's the difference between a real life racer and an armchair racer.

That save fuel talk is BS. Hizal gave up after the incident with fraga. He had on softs while fraga had medium tires. Hizal had the advantage but lacks the mental capacity when under pressure. Same thing happened when Nicolas Rubilar won. He has to learn to suck it up and deal with pressure. Hizal has the talent and the speed to win any event.
@@868racingtt3 It isn't bullshit though, that's what he wrote on GT Planet: First of all thank you guys and I appreciate all of your opinions. Great to see having a discussion here. I will tell you my point of view a little bit. When i was pitting in for my last stop i overfueled by 1 lap so that i could push a little bit more than in the first two stints as i was saving a lot of fuel (and way more than Fraga who was pushing). Once i caught up to him i obviously tried to overtake him as soon as possible so that i could still save fuel a little bit but not as much like when i did at the beginning of the race. I think you all saw the incidents and the Clip and i will let you guys decide on that. After my 3rd failed overtake attempt where i got slightly pushed i had to save fuel as i was down by 0.2 lap. The reason why i was so furious through out the last couple of laps was that i expected to see a notification popping up and saying "Incident between Igor and Mikail is going to be investigated" as he was driving about 30-40kmh after eau rouge on purpose and me braking to avoid the contact on a high speed corner. Imagine this same incident and contact happening in real life. Obviously when i was saving fuel afterwards i knew if there will ever be a penalty for Igor then maybe a 5 sec penalty but because of saving fuel that much i couldn't do it. For me personally it was a shame that this race ended up like that and perhaps i shouldn't have been that direct on the post interview. I apologize for that but as for Salzburg i will try to give it my best again and still try to race as clean as possible. Thank you. Also the Spanish commentators mentioned it during the race.
Mehmet Emin Çalışkan he wasn’t dirty. He just did something that nobody was expecting and he did it right. Was dangerous? Yeah. Could end with a big crash? Yah. But his accuracy was exactly what he need to make that defensive move right. So no, he wasn’t dirty. He was smarter than everyone was expecting and has gone at the limit of the rules of GT Sport / FIA. Just that. Not so clean, but not dirty. Accept that fact.
Mehmet Emin Çalışkan I didn’t said that i don’t agree with the penalty. And well, the true is, if Hizal didn’t cried about, nobody was going to do nothing, cause at the momment everyone tought that was an brilliant sequence of defensive moves. The penalty was fair, they rewatched the scene and applied the penalty against Igor cause was a dangerous move. Just that.
Trash why not show Igors input or lack of input on the throttle causing Mikail to dangerously brake in a high speed zone, why not give him a 5 second penalty during the race not conveniently after where it won't make a difference...? Why not give Fraga a 10 second penalty for knocking NicoR off the track? Look at Cody and his dangerous move with a 10 second penalty, sure he took him out but Mikail would've done the same had he not braked... If that's what it's like at the world finals I want nothing to do with it, I'd beat the $hit out of any punk who couldn't beat me fairly you better believe it!

SIM racing will not get big till stupid stuff like letting someone by and then slipstreaming and then brakechecking stops happening. People enjoy the danger of motorsport even if they don’t think so it’s in the back of everyone’s head. Sim racing removes that danger which means that the people racing are more likely to do stupid things. This was just dirty.

Александр Бережинский well yes. But actually no
FIA judges if you are reading the comments and you should, it is not too late to re-evaluate your decision and strip Fraga from his victory, because it is the right thing to do.
I'm only watching this because of one of the commentators.
...Nah, just kiddin'. I watch it because of Hizal too.
I love SPA
If one of the top players had this problem I bet it would be sorted same day
Anthoine Hubert ♥️
I remember what Fraga did in 2018 in the last race at La sarthe, he went from tenth to first place against the best, the day any of these players do something similar in this championship, I say, which is better than him...

I see nothing wrong other than the brake check...
hadn't even seen how unsportmanlike fraga was at the beginning :o did anyone see how he pushed off rubilar while rubilar was ahead tbh in the first corner. makes his case even worse he shouldn't have won this event.
yeah it looked like he either oversteered into him or he was way to aggressive and left him no room. should have been a penalty right away.
Dirty Fraga, Hizal deserved win and Miyazono deservet at least 3rd place.
No, he didn't. He didn't have fuel to keep the first position, Fraga would win the race anyway.
So no. Hizal don’t deserve it.
just show the onboard of hizal on this round but I guess you can‘t because the whole event would lose

The real question is why this track isn't in the 1.43 update package!

What fraga did?
Fraga intentionally lifted halfway the throttle when going through the uphill S-curve knowing that Hizal would have to hit the brake to avoid him. So, in a way he kind of brake checked him in a part of the track that would normally be flat out in those cars.

Yes Fraga was a bit dirty and he was penalized for it. If Hizal keep his head on he would have won but he lacks that mental fortitude. Hizal needs to grow up. That's the difference between a real life racer and an armchair racer.
the penalty must been given in the race, not after. Than we saw another race and Hizal won easy. Dont talk shit...

ua-cam.com/video/dZUrl1QmeuM/v-deo.html :)
Well Hizal had to save fuel, he wasn't able to push.
@@868racingtt3 It isn't bullshit though, that's what he wrote on GT Planet:
First of all thank you guys and I appreciate all of your opinions.

The penalty was fair, they rewatched the scene and applied the penalty against Igor cause was a dangerous move. Just that.
Hey let's add a cannon on the hood that shoots out turtle shells for the next competition, if this crap is going to be allowed.
