@@dmoorf And the one REALLY overpowered use case it had was on nurse - like, this game is SO many years old, just disable aura reading on the nurse during blink-charge all the way until blink-fatigue already.
@Jukantos the issue with that is it leaves the only viable perks on nurse as quad slowdowns. She doesn't need another nerf in that sense, she needs to be fully reworked to have to play the game normally at least for short periods during the match. Maybe similar to oni.

What it would do however is take the aspect of every aura perk being overly OP on her and her alone away, and make it so that she gets all her aura normally outside of blink, but when charging her blink, would need to use her prediction skills and map knowledge. It would actually add more skill to nurse, and she wouldn't be able to just stomp over people quite as easily like she does now. Hell it wouldn't even knock her off S tier, she'd still be top 3, wouldn't effect her all that much at all. Rework would be better, I don't disagree with that part at all. Just that blinking blindness wouldn't be as damaging to her as people think it would, it would just stop every aura perk getting instantly nerfed right after a buff, because a random nurse player decided to use it.

And some people keep saying it's justified cause "10% hAsTe iS Op AnD cAn eNd cHaSeS" like they don't realise it's already hard to activate more than 2 times in a game, survivors have haste perks that they can activate anytime with a cooldown. 60 seconds was perfect. The perk rebalance was already perfect
Classic BHVR: Gives us a decent niche perk, notices that it's too strong on very few killers or in a combo, nerfs niche perk instead of nerfing the combo or said killers.
Technically it’s 45 seconds. The stupid devs don’t know how to read a typo when they see one but in the patch notes they nerfed it from 60 to 45 but the in game text says 40 seconds
machine learning was such a fun perk, now not only is it 45 seconds instead of 60, im pretty sure level 3 is actually bugged and is only 40 seconds. could be just a visual bug but man i would have loved to use it more but now it’s just not worth the hassle

I've been using zanshin since the changes to it, and I do agree with the nerf to it. Machine learning I am sad about, I think they should have made the time a bit longer, about 45 seconds not 40. Predator... Rebuff that perk, it's dumb that they nerfed it

Im surprised they nerfed predator. I do understand zenshin it takes away mind games around loops and thats a fun part of the game. Predator only encouraged chasing though and thats the best part of the game to me. Why nerf that before something like Franklin's/weave that to me is alot more unhealthy for survivors being able to some what pick when to shut down whole areas with a single basic hit and get non stop aura reading.

Usually with their reputation they’ll wait months after a new perk or rework comes to live before changing it but in a BUGFIX patch they decide to nerf perks they JUST buffed. It’s like they want killers to run 4 slowdown because they nerf every other fun viable perk
@@Moses_16 Tbf, BHVR old policy of waiting a few months to nerf something strong was good. Many things seemed OP on release/change and then it turned out that people just needed to adjust to it. This happened many times. Prime examples are perks like Languid Touch, Nowhere to Hide, Rapid Brutality, Fogwise, Wicked, Strength in Shadows, etc. These are all perks that everyone was saying would be OP, but nowadays, some are good but none are seen as broken or uncounterable. BHVR really should've given it more time before nerfing these perks to see how they settled in.

I won't lie I'm fairly indifferent to the changes, because the perks weren't too powerful however I do wish their solution to making something weak stronger wasn't yet another aura read. I say this full well having no idea how to make things better either but man....can we not have our auras read every two seconds? lol

It's a bummer we see such quick nerfs to killer perks. Broken survivor perks tend to survive quite a bit longer before BHVR touches them.
BHVR pretty much exclusively looks at data, and im sure solo queue games kinda mess with that data so it makes sense tbh

Now i have 60s T3 Myers and 40s Machine learning, it bugs me a lot.
I want a T3 nerf to 40s to compensate.

I actually love predator and the spies from the sky cause I literally cant see scratch marks on half of the maps.

If they can nerf killer perks this fast. Then in turn just nerf survivor perks, right now survivors are in a pretty solid spot.
I loved using Barbecue, Zanshin, Predator, and Lethal Pursuer on Blight. No one could hide from me 🤣
