I’m in the exact same boat as you; have the can-am hard coated poly right now, hasn’t been bad but it’s getting kinda scratched up even with me taking really good care of it. Bent Metal makes an awesome product, and I agree, the can am one is a booger. 😂

Does the bent metal glass windshield get less dusty the the plastic windshield? We bout an oem windshield and I could barely see
Was wondering if you want to remove the windshield is there a quick disconnect on the wiring?

No the view is good to me. I had no issues at all.
The only thing that worries me is the location of the wiper. Your riding down a trail and hit a low hanging branch that wiper is probably gone.
So far I haven't had any issues but not saying it cant happen. Thanks for watching!
Do you think you could have installed it with the roof on? Likewise on a hot day would it come off with the roof still on?
Unfortunately the roof has to come off if you want to install or remove windshield.

Yep it comes right off. All you have to do is unstrap it.

@@danbskyguy I like helping people out so I show how to videos on accessories I install. That's how this channel was built and I will continue doing it with this build project. If you dont like the channels content then that's your choice. I have done trail ride videos in the past with my Ranger and will do trail rides videos in the future with this unit. Do you think I could use the kit from Can Am that contains the wash bottle and wiper and motor on the bent metal windshield reason being the kit are out of stock for the wiper kit from Bent Metal
I don't think it will work. I would suggest getting the manual wiper and then later install the electric one.
Any rattles from the windshield touching the cage? I'm looking to pick one of these up and I'm considering throwing some weatherstripping in between the windshield and cage
It's not to bad. The windshield comes with weather stripping already on the back side to cut down on noise.
I just ordered this windshield. Please tell me what side mirrors you're using. Looks like I'll need to replace mine once the new windshield comes in. Thanks for the video

How well do the vents work?
They work real good. I have the rear net so when it's hot out you get a nice breeze. Probably the windshield was the best mod I purchased so far.
Does this fit with the factory roof?
Yes if you have the black plastic sport roof. It doesn't fit the aluminum roof.

Is it hot in the summer or do the vents work pretty good?
The vents help a lot but what's nice is if it gets to hot it's easy to remove the windshield.

after 5 months how do you like this windshield? i was going to get the Can am one until i seen bentmetal , did you have any issues? and some people on the forums are saying the wiper is up top and doesn't clean the passenger windows to much can you confirm ? also how about the vents ? thanks
I have no issues with the windshield and really like the vents for warmer days to cool the cab off. I agree the wiper does not cover the whole windshield but it's not enough to sway me from buying it again if I had to do it all over. The company did come out with a new windshield 2.0 and you can now install the wiper motor on the bottom.
