Yes they are. What’s more is that not only are they a force to be reckoned with live but they are super nice people to. I went to see Phil Anselmo and the illegals last year, speedhorn were supporting them and they tore the place a new asshole, then after the set they were hanging out with everyone outside while going to the pub next door and buying rounds (they bought me a pint anyway). By far one of my favourite bands.

A shining example of why success is often down to a mixture of luck and marketing. RSH make fantastic heavy music, and work hard. The fact that they aren’t huge is a crying shame. Talent and effort only take you so far, sadly. Fantastic set. Looking forward to seeing them at DesertFest 2020. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
They're one of if not the best metal band in Britain right now. I've always had a great time at their gigs, I'm just disappointed that the speedhorn/sepultura tour has been cancelled. That tour would have been great.
I toured with raging speedhorn in 2002. They are all good guys. When the guitarist played the intro to Today by the smashing pumpkins in soundcheck the rest of the band laughed at him and called him names. When Ill Nino had a punch up with Murder One in Manchester Raging Speedhorn stayed out of it. Gordon came to our gigs. Singer with spiky hair is a joker. Liked a drink. I was a fan way before we went on tour with them and I was fucking embarrassed to be in a pop punk band and not once did they let their feelings show about this band who was tagging on their tour with Ill Nino. A lot of other bands made their feelings known about how were signed to a major and 'didnt deserve it' with their standoffish twattishness. These guys were gentlemen and they don't sound bad at all these days
I saw you a good number of times as a teenager, possibly including on the tour you are talking about? It would have been either the Astoria or the Wulfrun, I don't remember which. I thought you were a good band and my girlfriend at the time was really into you. We had a lot of great home-grown punk and metal around that time. Good memories.
I always thought violent delight were more of a punk/nu metal band. Had you developed that into the later metalcore sound you guys could have been like the UK A Day To Remember 😂
I remember your band! Good stuff. You recorded with Steve Jones, right? What was the Murder One vs Ill Nino fight about? Lol. Wasn't John from Speedhorn in Murder One?
From memory John has taken a break due to health issues. He was in Extreme Noise Terror for a bit and my friend was the drummer at the time said Jon had issues with gout.
@@VeritySpott Use to see RSJ every other weekend when i was younger. They use to always be playing at some venue in York where i'm from. Some of the best gigs I have been to have been RSJ.
One of the most underrated bands ever - they are the dogs testicles, go check out the albums.
They are indeed 😎

Yeah I remember when they were a huge cult band in the UK. Don't know why they haven't had more recognition they still smash it clearly.
They definitely have a loyal fanbase, but I agree they deserve more recognition. The frequent lineup changes probably didn't help
Great upload - not enough Speedhorn on the web.
Heard a live version of Scrapin' the Resin on a Kerrang! CD and that was it.
Highlight of my weekend there! Superb!
Absolute highlight for me. Love 'em every time I see 'em.
Saw you in a packed Trillians, Newcastle on a Sunday night in 2000. Total mayhem. You should come back :)
They were back last night at NSU supporting Skindred, absolutely ridiculous performance as always!
Sounding better than ever boys!x
Saw these before Sepultura on Sunday. F***ing epic. Enjoyed them just as much as the headline act.
Loads of other bands play at the pace of the last song but this band creates real bangers.
Saw them live in 2000, they still slay....heavy ass groves and pounding rhythms, goin for the throat!

Unreal.. But weird seeing them without the big fella
Where is he? John was one of the best screamers out there!

@@lindenbeamish gout? My mate had that off caning the beers, it's quite nasty apparently
Redweed at 6:13, got to be one one of the best metal songs I’ve ever heard, heavy as fook! 💪🏻
