I just made your bratwurst recipe and the seasoning was spot on. My mother was from Germany and I remember visiting my relatives there every other Summer. I never could find the same kind of bratwursts here in the states that I enjoyed so much over there. Thank you for sharing that recipe!

Funny enough I don't know the original source. I got the recipe by asking my meat butcher instructor in culinary school for a recipe. He picked up a random book and flipped to a page and copied down the recipe for me. So perhaps we will never know where it came from!
I’m pretty convinced it doesn’t work at all really. Even in their instructional video the stuffing part of the process looks a little suspicious…it doesn’t seem to pack the casings very tightly at all. Glad you enjoyed the video and have fun with the recipe!
Truth be told, mine went in the trash. I wasn't in one of my better moods after fighting with it to grind then the thought of running the meat through again to stuff the casings put me over the edge...@@cooking_with_tristan

My response is that a video without any music can have a tendency feel so raw or unpolished but I hear (ha) what you are saying. I’ve been dialing back the music to a very low volume in recent videos. Hope you will consider a subscription all the same :)

I know a lot about what I’m doing and try to bring as much of that information to my viewers as possible :) and besides some people like to 😴 to cooking videos
