Can wireless projection be used as an output in vMix? We use wireless connections to an HDMI input of projectors at the school I work at - would be very handy.
Vmix, Is this what you do on your two screen setup in your office where you can monitor and record on the right monitor, and also listen to that headphone output to make sure that everything is pushing out with no echo, no issues, and know for sure it's streaming and recording properly?
Will you add a 3rd Fullscreen? The better graphics cards have 4 output...most of the time I find myself needing 1 for PC display, 1 for multiview, 1 for program output and 1 more for specific Input.
Hello Tim, your videos are very informative! When I share videos from Vmix to zoom you can see and hear the video. However, when in Zoom the shared screen shows as a little square. I was wondering if there's a way to automatically go full view screen in Zoom when sharing videos from vmix? Thank you!
Hi Tim This was a very good and informative video. Please I would like to know what Graphics Card you showed in this video and where I can purchase one or any other that you might recommend. Thanks
@@vMixhd Thanks a lot. Since these are scarce, are there no alternatives at the moment? I presently use the Geforce GT 710 as that was what came with the PC I could afford at the time. However, I noticed that the GPU easily gets overloaded when you have about 25 inputs and especially when you have animations running on some of the inputs - like scrolling texts, etc. Are there any alternatives to these at the moment?
Actually it should be renamed as GPU output. Fullscreen output create confusion with external output which is for capture cards. In fact external output should be renamed as Capture card output too.
hello, is anybody around? i need help, am new to this vMix program and am learning it now. yes, i completed installation but the problem is that it can't display video within the program what does it need? lisence key? or please and a student, kindly help me
For those of us with multiple GPU systems, is there any way to get vMix to use the second GPU to do the number crunching for the CoDecs, while the first has the monitors attached to it? Similar to how Daz Studio can use one, both, or the CPU as well, when using the Iray renderer from nVidia ? The different versions of vMix - can we get a 'HD Pro' version between the current HD and 4K versions, that doesn't do 4K, but does do Replay/Multicorder and Animated titles? This would be a great option for those of us that don't need 4K streaming, but could really do with replays - such as for community sports events.
I already have an idea on how to stream with Vmix. However, i need to also send the feed to the another monitor and split to other screens in my church so members who are far away as well as church workers in and outside the auditorium can follow the service. Can the full screen option be my solution?
hi there, how many computers can i install this VMIX with only one purchased license? i want to use it in my desktop when im at home, and then to my laptop when travelling. and also once installed in my laptop and then i want to upgrade to a new laptop and sell the old one, or my laptoo was broken or lost or stolen, can i install on a new purchased laptop?
Hi, you can install vMix to your main PC and a backup as long as they're not being used at the same time. If you get a new computer you can deactivate the key from it and then install to another. www.vmix.com/knowledgebase/article.aspx/6/can-licenses-be-installed-on-more-than-one-pc
@@vMixhd this is perfect! Thanks for your prompt, clear and straight to the point response. Unlike other software, there are no options to deactivate the key from old PC, you need to purchase a new license. and yes of course and make sense that you can't use at the same time on both to prevent piracy. i'm interested in the 4k, But $700 is a bit expensive especially for personal and non-profit use.
its a non-profit religious use, i have enquire for a discounted price but it requires an email that is not yahoo or gmail as proof of religious organization. As ive said its non profit so we dont have capacity to provide and maintain a private non-free email address.
I've started using this feature to feed our encoder (LIveU) but it seems only some audio gets fed to the second display (aka the liveu) for example i can hear my music and other audio during our wait screen but then when i activate our commentary on M it does not go out to the LiveU on the second monitor. why is this? Should master be fed to all outputs? Why only some inputs but not others?
When I go to vMix and select Full screen and the display1 output, I see whatever I have selected for display1 is shown as the background of my primary monitor where vMix is running.
Can i send audio over HDMI via the Fullscreen output? I'm sending the output to my hardware mixer and i can see the image however no audio is coming through
Hi Tim, I have a problem too. I use vmix on an asus laptop with nvidia 3070 video card and it works perfectly. The problem appears when I unplug the laptop and the overloaded gpu message appears. I think I made all the settings for performance and vmix is set to work on nvidia but I think it still goes on the internal board and I don't know what else to do. It's not such a big deal but I don't want it to ever happen to unplug the laptop and the video doesn't work well.
There is a setting «Optimus» that switches automatically between graphics depending on battery or connected. Change from optimus to another setting, I believe this is found in Nividia controlpanel or another graphics interface, possibly «Gaming control center»
With software switchers there will always be a certain level processing, which adds delay to your output. If you used a hardware switcher, then you will have less latency.
@@vMixhd Thanks for the clarification. So using the fullscreen output option will still have less latency than using a hardware output option (i.e. a Blackmagic or AJA capture card).
Really confused that the render time in the video is not increasing when using the Fullscreen-Option. Mine is always increasing by 10 ms when using one extra display.
Yes, i am checking it now in Windows10. In settings: select Fullscreen 1, and display 1, then you have a fullscreen of the output, in the same monitor, if you want to switch between Vmix interface, and the FS output , use the alt-tab windows shortcut.
If you go to Settings>Outputs you can choose to turn off the overlays associated with Output 1, which is your recording. Here's a video on Recording- ua-cam.com/video/39PdUbrkmxQ/v-deo.html

Absolutely need 3. Or more.... Two is not enough

I like the fullscreen output. but why is ther no shortcut for turn on off replay screen. i can change in rolldown but a shortcut is nice. for toggle .

For some reason, the full screen does not work with liveU. Solutions? Works great with the regular monitor.
